  • Jiddu Krishnamurti said it best when he said; "All ideologies are idiotic, whether religious or political, for it is conceptual thinking, the conceptual word, which has so unfortunately divided man." Religion is also dogma and represents a closed world view, with each sect claiming theirs is the only way; and like the quote above, if god exists then why did he make me an atheist?

  • Excellent. The seeds were sown for me in the early 70's during, strangely enough, my confirmation classes. The vicar asked us to do good works around the village and I offered to clear the old, churchyard tombs which were covered in briars. I was cut to pieces doing it, and In the evening whilst watching the embers of the burning briars, the vicar came by and said; "you and the lord have done a good days work my son" to which I replied; "No, because I saw it when the lord had it to himself."

  • What's the name of this pome

  • Well, we've found my new favourite poem.

  • who ever invented religion, i want to punch him in the dick!!

  • this commercial is so nice... the voice, the music, the video itself is amazing!

  • Lets just totally ignore free will

"GOD Y U NO STOP ME FROM DRINKING AND DRIVING?????!!!!!!" -Atheist

  • Great work for an amature. However the information is faulty. Ex: God hates war. The bible states to use common sense and logic. God spent a lot of time healing the diseased. The bible actually states that the rich have harder times getting into heaven...

  • God made me an atheist.

  • cool stuff man

  • Nice commercial.

  • tldr version: The world is unhappy and God isn't helping, therefore I assert God doesn't exist.

I guess the logic and reasoning atheists are so fond of has temporarily escaped this one.

  • @thegreatestjest And your reason to think God does exist?

  • @thegreatestjest Uh, is it logical to think otherwise? Is it reasonable that a god exist?

  • @thegreatestjest By TLDR you mean that you did not get the video and straw man then yes it TOTALLY MEANS THAT!!! HURDURP!.

Answer me this if God is real then why is there so much evil in this world and if GOD is real why dose he not prevent it?? He is GOD after all and children dying, people starving, rape, murder and every thing else he more or less LETS HAPPEN!. To what purpose other then being a sick disgusting individual.

The world dose not make sens if your god is real.

  • There is something about atheism that is just really shallow. God did not create religion. This poem, to me, is saying that people are basically the problem. How does moving away from nature, the thing that created you, going to help the human race become any better? We are more than flesh and blood. And we need our connection to nature, to creation. There IS a great mystery out there; revel in it! The evidence shows that Nature/Creation/God will find a balance, but humans get in the way.

  • @lucymissesjack There is no such thing as God. Scientific proof about evolution is overwhelming. It's everywhere. Religious people seem to deny that fact because they simply REFUSE to let go of their beliefs.

  • @thetobabe I wish they could actually show this on TV

  • Hmmmm, well God gave people free mind, they can decide wether they want to listen to him or not. This sounds to me like these people who made this video, they do believe in existence of God, but they choose not to believe in him. Well thats everyones right, God doesn't force any human being to believe, he gave the instruction, it's up to you wether you wanna follow HIM or your desires. Simples as that.

  • just because your atheism dosent mean you wont go to hell!! how about you think about how much you idol yourself, hmm?

  • @ImaginaryNaugle Yeah, you keep believing in your imaginary friends... I'll live in the real world.

  • Great.

  • That was amazing.

  • Powerful commercial, can anyone tell me the name of the music?

  • @Chloe24ify

    Surface of The Sun

  • @HomuncuIus hey atleast its not fake, and made up

  • i fear nothing quite as much as a believer. one might not be so bad, nor a small group, but on a global scale much harm is done.

  • @westt44 Get 100 people to believe in your science fiction story, they call you a cult leader. Get a few million to believe you and they call you a prophet.

  • Coolio Beanios

  • nice!

  • It's sad when people stop believing in god

  • @Xx3r1ca13xX The more I educate myself, the less I believe in the idea of a god, and the happier I become. Through understanding of science, I have resolved confusion. Through proper use of logic and reasoning, I have let go of fear and anger. And the only thing that makes me sad anymore, are the uneducated masses, marching blindly towards segregation and war, whether they know it or not. We are all part of the conscious universe, one flowing cosmic ocean.

  • @Xx3r1ca13xX but what's great is when they never believed at all.... never caved in to a sheepish mentality of remaining less than what others murder and rape to justify following for their own self-centered salvation... and continue to disbelieve what simply was never there.

  • Eek. One must work hard to miss the point that badly. Seeing that the curse of rebellion against the Almighty carries such a huge weight of terrible judgement, why would you not earnestly seek to flee the coming wrath? What anyone in any congregation thinks is irrelevant. A few minutes in hell cures everyone of all thoughts save "how do I get out of here?" Many who profess Christ, if they persist in living hypocritically, will go there too (only worse for them). I pray I am not among them.

  • Allah said the worst punishment will come to those who seek to stray others away from his straight path. If you stray yourself due that is one thing, but to stray others is way worse.

May the lord guide you to his path once again.

  • @1stNeoSpartan hahahaha

  • @1stNeoSpartan and in attempting to stray us from our paths of seeing eachother as equals... i respectfully decline

  • @1stNeoSpartan and why is Allah's path true and every other path false?

  • Allah has revealed his path through many prophets, inspired men/women, and one Messiah (Jesus). Some we know about, others we don't. Mankind, however, likes to "add to" and "take away" from the guidance that was revealed in order to suit the desires and worldly ambitions of men.

  • @1stNeoSpartan Cool fairytale, bro.

  • @1stNeoSpartan The issue is that the Original Quran was lost a long time ago when there was that big religious war some time after Muhammad's death.

The Oldest Quran known today was from the EMpire that came to be around that and they edited the Quran a LOT from what it was in the start so how can one know the word of Allah and why is there no new Profet to set things right?.

  • im stoked . LOL

  • atheism, free your mind from bullshit

  • That's a good video there. BTW, the song is from the Sunshine OST, Adagio in D minor.

  • i wish there were a "love" button

  • GOD DOES NOT TELL THE CUNTS OF THE WORLD TO KILL RAPE OR WAR CHEAT LIE AND THE REST <YOU HAVE A CHOICE IN LIFE AND ITS UP TO FOLLOW GOODNESS OR BADNESS << ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT DO NOT BLAME GOD!!!!!!!!!

  • Hello Mastapiece1,

No one is blaming god as it is imaginary. ;O)

    Katalyzt

  • @Mastapiece1 Apparently you haven't read the Qur'an.

  • @Syrec1989 And did you read the quran?

  • @Syrec1989 or the old testament for that matter.

  • @Mastapiece1 but thats the problem, if something good happens is because god did it, but if something bad happens is not his fault and/or you deserve it, or he is working in mysterious ways..."Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"- Epicurus

  • Absolute certainty, not religion - not Atheism, is the problem.

The cornerstone of all manipulation is one man proclaiming that they are absolutely certain. Not certain that triangles have three sides, but that God is, or is not, that good is that not this.

As an Agnostic, I'm okay with any man, except one who tells me that HE is so sure of his POV, that he justifies trying to adjust, ignore, or eliminate my POV. Today I find the absolute certainty of many Atheist as dreadful as the extremist.

  • C'mon man ! how does your god wants hypocrisy ??? how does he loves riches more ?.... if u wanna seek peace of mind ,you will find it in Islam...Qur'an ... take it from me .....

  • @LostEliteGuy no religion can be correct.

  • Allah is your god ,sucker !!! who convinced you that Atheism is what will "Free your mind " !???!!

  • whats the song in the background?

  • Why are they only critisizing Christianity? I'm an Atheist and I think this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. I don't see anyone bashing Islam or Buddhism. (Not that they should be bashing any religion at all.)

That's what I hate about most atheists. They only want to focus on how big and bad Christianity is.

  • @LulledAwake2

Here let me do it for you

Fuck Christianity, Fuck Islam, Fuck Buddhism, Fuck Hindu, Fuck Judaism, and fuck every other religion that blinds people. What a shame to call yourself an atheist. You should be hoping that religion goes away, you should hope with every fiber of your being that every religion fucks off. It has destroyed the world, and blinded generation after generation. There is no God, no proof of God, yet he still saturates our every day lives. Fuck off, ALL religion.

  • @RevolutionaryWind There's no reason for atheists to bash Buddhism, because Buddhists are actually atheists. They don't believe in any god. And I'm pretty sure their beliefs don't threaten any kind of eternal damnation to nonbelievers, just a bunch of inner peace stuff, which is why I respect Buddhism. Other than that, I agree with you. Most religions are seriously fucked up.

  • @LulledAwake2 Where in this video does it specify that this is about Christianity? I'm sure its meant to apply to all the big three.

  • Really?...That is all I have to say.

  • Most religios people say that "sufferening is important, because from suffering comes compassion". Well I say "tell that to the ones who suffer".

  • Cool ★★★★★

  • Comment removed

  • What is this hypocritical video?

Why are you guys crying against your imaginary "GOD"?

No one believes in that "GOD" you guys are believing he would be.

This kind of Atheism is another instant religion trying to make it big by comparing itself with well-known conventional religions.

and its believers are ppl who believe they are smarter than others.

Because I choose to believe freely,

I do not have to listen to the senseless cries from atheists' imaginary battle against deity.

  • @masassaful Assuming you're being serious of course, I think you've missed the point.

Your imagination, if it includes God, has zero chance of reflecting reality. Just like a purple bunny's rainbow fart has zero chance of magically arranging a series of proofs and theorems taking us all the way from 1+1=2 through to the development of Calculus on a roll of toilet paper made from fairy floss.

The easter bunny isn't real either.

    Go eat a shoe.

  • oh shit!!!!!! that was fucking good... For a call on atheism.. All stand up and free your mind through this senseless tackle of "god"......

  • That reminds me; read Luke Chapter 16:19 until the end of the chapter.. that's what I'm talking about. "during your life, you received good things and he bad things, but now you are in agony and he is comforted".. That's what I mean. God did not appoint the man to suffer on earth, but he comforted him later. In fact, the rich man had a part in that (not God), because he would not help the man; which was why he deserved the torment. Listen to Jesus, not misinterpretation of the old testament.

  • @tsapenathpaneah I wouldn't resort to name calling if you weren't such a cotton headed ninny muggins. I said "Listen, bitch, you are literally to stupid to insult," not solely based off my conversation with you, but reading your other replies. Do you really need "God" to tel you that raping children is wrong? I don't.

  • @tsapenathpaneah it is official, I believe you to be a part of the religious nation I refer to as "sheeple". Through no fault of your own, you will forever keep the blinders on regardless of your own common sense, for fear of being sent to hell, which was instilled by your sheeple peers. Worship your god OR ELSE! Ha! Re-DONK-ulous! I will let everyone else have a turn at this... what a waste.

  • @boozehound2010 the last post was for you. I took the blinders off 8 years ago... You show your true colors with your insults. I don't fear hell, and even if God should send me there, I don't question his judgement. I did not come to the conclusions by having "blinders" on or because of mere opinion... It's easy for you (and all the others here) to criticise, but at least I can look at both sides of the story.. you won't even consider mine.. because the truth is, it is you who are blind.

  • @tsapenathpaneah so do you believe that drinking and becoming violent justifies the penalty of death? Do you also believe the slaughter of an entire village in order to take 35 virgins is moral in any way whatsoever? Were there no innocent beings killed for that purpose? I am not being combative, only relaying a point to you that god is god just, and if he is not just, he is not perfect. If he is not perfect, he is also a liar. Put the pieces of the puzzle together...

  • @boozehound2010 Yes, it just might be in a society that does not have a Juvie hall to send them too. Again, you're misreading another story, one in which, god did not say.. "do this". Not everything people did in the OT was commanded by God, (like slaugher for the purpose of obtaining wives). What I say is really simple "God does not wish the death of the innocent, but when it happens, he is the avenger of evil and a refuge for the Just, even if it must happen after we pass from this life"

  • @boozehound2010 that's the other difference we have; that you are only considering the suffering, inequities, etc, that you see now.. Your presupposition is that death is the end of your existence. You see someone suffer with a disease his whole life here and suppose that is the end of the story, that he suffered needlessly. How could you judge the "justness" of God without all the facts of any one persons existence, both now and after death?

  • @boozehound2010 SO when are you joining that leper colony?? LOL... well seriously, if you believe you have it so good and that's wrong or just an injust twist of fate or roll of the dice; As I said, I would applaud your willingness to go do something about that!

  • @MsMisspoppie Yes, please find me that verse that says "kill innocent people". 10 people? tell me where you got that wild number.. (Sheesh)... Well God bless your environment, the one you probably won't raise your kids in.. Have fun! like I said, time will tell on you in more ways than one.. FYI, I'll get my info about God from the bible and not someone's Utube video. Does the video mention all the athiestic goverment body tolls, like China, former USSR, etc...

  • @tsapenathpaneah If you have read the bible multiple times, you did not retain any of it. He orders death to any who strike or curse their parents, witches, anyone that makes sacrifice to other his, false prophets, misbehavior children, adulterers, the list goes on and on. Two? I think not.

  • @boozehound2010

The problem with tsapenathpaneah is that this person believes all who have offended his god are guilty & therefore deserving of death & this includes babies, children, women & animals.

To be a christian also means u believe every1 is guilty of the original sin - we are all deserving of eternal torture in a lake of fire & it is this perverted outlook on reality which makes it near impossible to carry on a meaningful conversation with sickos like this

    Although I applaud ur efforts

  • @atrumira You don't know me well enough to say that. You're also making statements that I don't believe. You're also classifying christains with a broad sweep. You know, I'm willing to be open listen to anyone who is at least respectful of other's opinions. You're the one who is unwilling to have a "meaningful" conversation.

You're unwillingness to read the bible without the obvious bias is, well, obvious..

  • @tsapenathpaneah

    Lets get 2 things straight:

    1) I have read the bible many times over & the vast overwhelming majority of those who are Atheists HAVE also read the bible & it is because of this that we are so confident in our total dismissal of what you believe.

    2) With 'respect' to your god having ordered the deaths of only 2 people - either (a) you have not read the bible or (b) u are exactly as I described, delusional enough to believe mass slayings are a means to a way to solve problems.

  • @atrumira There; you keep saying "people"... "INNOCENT people", please. Whether you agree with the assessment of their guilt or not, the culture of those people was toxic since they practiced all those things which could result in a death sentence for any israelite. You may not like that God judged them guilty.. sorry :(.. by the way, ever read Joshua Chp 2 about Rahab... God exmple that even the guilty can obtain mercy.. all they have to do is ask! What most of U do is "skim", not "read"...

  • @tsapenathpaneah

Re: ur last post: EVIL is the ABSENCE of EMPATHY. Keep repeating this until it sinks in

Once more: U CANNOT EXPLAIN AWAY A MONUMENTALLY IMMORAL ACT JUST BECUS U FEEL IT IS CONNECTED TO A HIGHER POWER.

That is ALL u are doing. If any human being flooded a country killing every1 & then claimed they were being sinful what wud u think? What wud the rest of the world think?

Now compare the much worse tale of the flood in the OT which u can of course justify becus ur god did it.

  • @atrumira OK.. Yes, I actually can, for two reasons: 1) Only a higher power can decide right and wrong.. I.e. what is immoral to begin with. 2) If it is from a higher power, how can, I, a lower form, be expected to second guess it, since I do not have all the same facts and information that the higher power does?

"Evil is the absense of empathy".. that is just your opinion. It is scientifically unprovable; your own, man made "religious statement"..

  • @atrumira OK..

If there is no God, who decides what is right and wrong, moral or immoral?.. whether you care to admit it or not, everybody will have their own opinion. For example, is it wrong to eat meat? what is wrong with pedophilia if the child consents? and following it further, at what age is it statutory rape?, is it wrong to kill a bug? burn a tree? kill in self defence? kill to protect your goods (food or other valuables), etc? Can you kill someone who raped your sister?

  • @tsapenathpaneah "If there is no god who decides what is right & wrong moral or immoral?"

I cud not have asked for a better eg of the pitiful xian intellect & conscience, thank-u (sincerely)

No wonder you're in this (delusional) mess, with this mentality - if this is all it takes; an ancient book - ONE BOOK - written by superstitious, science illiterate nomads for u to then throw in the towel on your OWN INHERENT HUMAN ABILITY to feel COMPASSION & EMPATHY for your fellow human being & animals

  • @atrumira More insults, huh? Who is really unfeeling and evil here? You forgot the inherent human ability to kill, both humans and animals, which not based on religion. What is so commending about compassion and empathy if it gets you killed? Sheesh... I don't know why you cant see that your only creating another religious philosophy of your own opinionated choosing. So are lions evil? Do you sweep bugs from your path, too? I would have to presume you are Vegan..?

  • @tsapenathpaneah "Only a higher power can decide right and wrong..."

Really? Says who? YOU? Do u have any clue what standard of morality u have just aligned yourself with?

MIGHT IS RIGHT, that's what & that IS the christian credo & thanks for presenting yet another eg of xian 'morality' (wink-wink).

Once again: U CANNOT EXPLAIN AWAY A MONUMENTALLY IMMORAL ACT JUST BECUS U FEEL IT IS CONNECTED TO A HIGHER POWER.

P.S. By your standard Gaddafi is well within his rights to slaughter his people.

  • @atrumira You can stop chanting that now... Saying it over and over does not make it true. You can also stop equating your (mis)interpretation of the bible as a basis for a christian doctrine that does not exist.. Since neither modern Jew nor Christians subscribe to the moral notions or application of law of which you accuse them.

  • @tsapenathpaneah "neither modern Jew nor christians subscribe to the moral notions or application of law"

The only thing jesus supposedly did away with was sacrifices which he was supposed to be the 'ultimate' (wink-wink) 1 - while EVERYTHING ELSE in the bible is supposed to stand as per matt 5:18 "I tell you the truth, until heaven & earth disappear not the smallest letter not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

  • @atrumira Jesus said, "it is done", and breathed his last... As for judaism... When was the last stoning you heard of in Israel? Obviously, you have misunderstood their religion as well.. Of course you have; you're just another sicko with a innane need to destroy, and belittle the beliefs and opinions of others, while exhalting your own "enlightenment".. not wasting anymore time on you either; I'll leave you to you, yourself, and your closed mind.

  • @atrumira what right do YOU have to say what is right? You're seeing everything through a lens of a consicence that was "formed" by a judeo christian context... Sorry guy, you were NOT born with that, trust me. You're a murderer, rapist, and a hundred other things, were it not for some "home training". The code of morality (versus law of the jungle) in you is proof a higher "MORAL" being... So you don't think it is the God of the bible... That's your opinion.

  • @tsapenathpaneah “what right do YOU have to say what is right”

I have the right to inform u, u sick piece of xian excrement, that our modern standards of law are in NO WAY founded on judeo-xianity becus if this were the case then misbehaving children wud be killed (matt 15:4-7) virgins wud be stoned to death outside of their father’s house on their wedding night (deut 22:20-21) & the occupants of entire towns wud be murdered if 1 person was found who did not believe in ur god (deut 13:13-19)

  • @atrumira Sorry.. our laws were made by christians a jews who were guided by their faith. You've hand picked a certain number of laws, laws not even presently used in any religion (save perhaps islam), to discard and ignore every other law that did come from there.... You're pathethic and have still not answered my question about your own questionable morality.. Willing to diss others, but not willing subject your own belief to the same scrutiny... Goodbye

  • @tsapenathpaneah "u've hand picked a certain number of laws, laws not even presently used in any religion"

If your god is so moral then his commandments & instructions - ALL OF THEM - are to be followed. U don't get to cherry pick the nice sounding 1s & ignore the nasty 1s, which I cud quote pages & pages.

As per ur savior: matt 5:18 "until heaven & earth disappear not the smallest letter not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

  • @atrumira I'm through talking about "my God".. I want to talk about yours now. All you really want is an argument

  • @atrumira Nevermind.. I'm through with you. I guess we'll both have firsthand knowledge when we die... Enjoy!

  • @tsapenathpaneah "we'll both have 1sthand knowledge when we die... Enjoy!"

If there is an afterlife & if the religion to follow is islam then we'll both be in hell, there r also other religions that feature a hell for unbelievers.

Alternatively there's the possibility that the test is for us to be brave, intelligent & MORAL & to comprehend that a god who resorts to murder/torture/genocide to solve his problems is no god worthy of being worshiped & mayb it'll be the BELIEVERS who end up burning

  • @atrumira tsapenath the christian mental perv con't

I have ZERO CONCERN that things are as you believe & there have been events in my life that, if anything, point to what I posted previously = hell for believers.

Good luck with your delusion, if I were you I’d really think things through, you have sided with pure evil & there might just be a price to pay for this, in which case if you’re the one burning in hell, you will have my sympathy :D

  • @atrumira Why thank you, my good man. And yes, they should.

  • @atrumira Just curious, where does COMPASSION AND EMPATHY weigh in when someone rapes or murders your wife, sister, child, or stabs you in back with a knife? If a lion hunts you, are you just going to Empathize with his need to have food?

  • @tsapenathpaneah “where does COMPASSION & EMPATHY weigh in when some1 rapes or murders ur wife, sister”

If it's ur sister, according to the law of the prophets which ur savior upheld, all I have to do is pay ur father some silver as per deut 22:28-29 & I get to marry her :D

As for ur wife, according to bibull morality if I rape her & then ask forgiveness from ur savior my sin will be forgiven, whereas if some1 tried to prevent me from raping her & they're not a xian they'll burn in hell

  • @atrumira I was asking about your moral code... "COMPASSION & EMPATHY"... Of course, you knew I was not asking for your mis-representations of my beliefs; I already know what I believe. I want to behold your enlightened code on this issue... Answer the question without the attacks; but then again, these attacks show your character, too.

  • @tsapenathpaneah "I was asking about your moral code"

What? Don't u like having to read about ur god's standard of 'morality' (wink-wink) quoted DIRECTLY from the bible. There have been NO MISREPRESENTATIONS, I have quoted WORD for WORD from the bible & referenced it appropriately.

My standard of morality, taught to me by my ATHEIST PARENTS, means that I treat others as I wud want to be treated, which INCLUDES ANIMALS AS I AM VEGAN.

My moral standards are superior, both to to ur god's & to urs

  • @atrumira That's better; now that wasn't hard, was it? You just referenced the Golden Rule taught by Jesus. But since there is no God, what is superior about that moral code anyway? Sounds too mee like you'd starve on an island with no vegetation. Meat eater 1, you 0. man, you're gonna be extinct! So how about bacteria or bugs.. are they sentient enough for you?

  • @tsapenathpaneah "You just referenced the Golden Rule taught by jesus"

Not even close, u filthy christian liar u. The good parts of the bibull were around long before your rehashed savior (i.e. Dionysus, Attis, Horus, Osiris, Mithra, etc) appeared & plagiarized them for his own.

The Golden Rule appeared in Ancient Egypt in the story of The Eloquent Peasant & Confucius (551–479 B.C.) wrote a version of the Silver Rule.

So don't even attempt to steal this on behalf of your brutal religion.

  • @atrumira The fact that athiest parents taught it does not discount the fact that the philosophy had it's origin, not in a Godless natural selection process, but was TAUGHT, passed down.. wanna bet it originally came from some "Xian" ancestors???

  • @atrumira "EVIL is the ABSENCE of EMPATHY" . . condemned by your own words as evil.

  • @atrumira Mercy always triumphs over judgement.. that's what the entire bible as an organic whole teaches if you don't read for out of context handpicked verses just to support your view of God as an ogre who just wants a fan club...

  • @atrumira I understand.. Used to be athiest too...

  • @atrumira I agree whole-heartedly!

  • @boozehound2010 I have retained it... I also pay attention to details and the context... I said INNOCENT people. and, no I don't mean "everybody because of original sin"... Do you know how sacrifices were made to other "gods" in those days ,for example? I know that misbehaving children (if you read it, it's referring to children who are also drinking, possibly violent) and adultery in modern culture are so "normalized" that no one cares, but they are not INNOCENT, either, by a far stretch.

  • @boozehound2010 Yes, please go on and on... I think you forgot sodomy (something no other animal does - dogs only "fake it"- and it's totally different from the real act), kidnappers, certain types of incest, and bestiality.... Ok, what else.. what other innocent HUMANS does God command the be executed in the OLD TESTAMENT that christians are not required to adhere to in modern times (Where we have jails and penal systems)?

  • @graffitijak are you sure you meant to direct those comments my way?

  • @MsMisspoppie Whether you acknowledge it or not, you got you morality it from religion or the society whose laws were influenced by it, directly or indirectly. If you think you are not capable of evil, that you are naturally a goody two-shoes; you're only fooling yourself and time will tell on you. If anybody's position lacks common sense or is "uneducated", it's yours...

  • @tsapenathpaneah and you are correct, about 5 minutes looking into the over-information available, looks like I was way off on the age...the old testament dates back to around 3400BC, unless of course I am confused, or the information obtained was incorrect which you clearly stated is more than likely. I can admit when I'm wrong, what about you religious folks...can you?

  • @boozehound2010 Sure we can. But I have done my research, both Internet and off... years of it. I've read the bible completely, times inumerable. I have read gnostic gospels, the Koran, learned some hebrew and how to read it, read the early church fathers; list goes on... I gew up agnostic... I have been a christian for 8 years now and am now, too, at the conclusion of my research, joining the Catholic Church. I was wrong about catholicism, of which, I too, was a "basher" as a protestant.

  • @boozehound2010 A) I never suggested "God" exists. B) People like me bitch about lemons and the tree they came from because I refuse to be thankful for me getting such a great lot in life and not someone else. It's bullshit. I'm not complaining that "God" doesn't do these things, I'm saying why sit there and say "God" loves us, "God" will take care of us" when in reality, its tough luck. I have it WAY to easy, and there are people out there who have it WAY to hard.

  • @graffitijak There's a simple answer: MOVE. Give up your stuff and embrace the suffering, give all your crap to the poor and buy a one way ticket to ethiopia or india. Jesus would commend you, I can guarantee it, if you are sincere about it. If you are really willing to put it up, I commend you... You'd be a better "Christian" than me or anyone I know personally!

  • @tsapenathpaneah I fail to see how selling everything I own and moving to live in poverty would solve any problems. I have a feeling they would look at me and say "Why the fuck did you give up everything to come live in this shit hole?" Also, do I honestly sound like someone who cares if a fictional being commends my actions? You're the christian with the "God" to impress. You give up your life, family, friends and loved ones. "Jesus would commend you." Is living eternity with Jesus not worth lea

  • @graffitijak

tsapenathpaneah is a perfect eg of the dangers of religion & the wrecking-ball job it can do to the human mind.

For this individual to say: "only a higher power can decide right from wrong" is exponentially pathetic.

So much for intelligence, so much for the ability to think critically, rationally & independently.

Lets all just throw our hooves in the air & say baa-baa :D

  • ving your loved ones for a relatively brief time? By your thinking, you'll see them in heaven in a very short time. So why not do it? Are you to greedy? Lazy? No, deep down, I think you know "God" doesnt exist, and you'd be giving up your one shot at life.

  • @boozehound2010 And I'm saying that I do those things, not because I fear eternal damnation or fiery retribution, but because its the right thing to do. Making someone else's life a bit better, not to save your own skin, but to make their life a bit less hard to live. I'm telling the idea of "God" to fuck off. Humanity doesn't need it, and would be far better off without it. Good people will still do good things, bad people will still do bad.

  • @graffitijak Whether you call it "original sin" or "evolutionary survival of the fittest", we are, at our core, self-preserving; designed to survive. This ultimately manifests itself as selfishness. It is a biological fact. The only thing that prevents it is being "indoctrinated" or taught otherwise. Any good you do for another person is only done because 1) you hope to receive back 2) trying to prove a point (your case) 3) religion or other belief (karma, etc).. Ur fooling yourself.

  • @tsapenathpaneah I cant even begin to fathom the idiocy of this comment. Are you suggesting that without religion we would all be self serving barbarians? Or are you saying that biology proves we're assholes? Listen, bitch, you are literally to stupid to insult. What prevents ME from being a self serving asshole is that other people need help, and I have the means to help them. I do not expect a reward, I'm not trying to prove a point, and I don't believe in religion or karma.

  • @graffitijak I have noticed a common thread among you so called athiests... every one of you has no point to make without resorting to name calling... Are any of you guys even out of high school yet? I feel like I'm talking to a bunch of rude, self righteous, teen-agers... Don't worry, this is my last comment to any of you.

  • @tsapenathpaneah "Don't worry, this is my last comment to any of you"

Good, bugger off already. No one of any intelligence is going to listen to the delusional, immoral rants of a bibull believing 1/16th wit & u might want to ask yourself; why your god 'blessed' (wink-wink) u with such a pitiful ability to preach the gospel (i.e. christian filth).

Why are ppl rude to u? Becus u are so painfully ignorant of reality, when u propose the absurd christian dribble that u do it pisses off sane ppl.

  • @boozehound2010 I suggest that the "God" of the bible says "You have free will. Here's how I want you to use it, and if you don't, you'll burn in hell for eternity. But it's totally your choice!" Putting a gun to someones head and telling them what to do doesn't mean that they have free will just because they can CHOOSE to not obey and be killed.

  • @tsapenathpaneah Over-information...really? You make it sound as if too much information is a bad thing. As for the majority of that information being incorrect, you have to consider the source. Are you referring to science being too confusing? If so, that may explain why some folks still can't see the bible for what it is, a really old fairy tale.

  • @boozehound2010 The phrase "too much" says it pretty well... I think too much of the info, both in books and especially on the internet, it taken at face value without really looking at it.. The person who screams loudest is seen to be right, as it were. How much of the info on there will be around 1000 or 5000 years from now? Technological advances aside, good old advice on how to live your life does not change a whole lot.

  • @MsMisspoppie Without religion, there is no reason NOT to be greedy... If there is no God, why should I care about anything else besides "el numero uno"- ME?? Religion is the only reason most people do care about others... Even when that "religion" is athiesm... If you genuinely were athiest, then there is no other right and wrong besides your own opinion... which would naturally lead to you doing whatever you could get away with, if you are honest about it...

  • @MsMisspoppie did jesus not forgive that women that that was a prostitud. he did forgive her, and saved her life. he told his people arent we all siners what right do you have to stone this women if you sin to. and god only ask for one day of prayer thats why some people have sundays off of work. and when you say prayer and faith shall save the sick. u cant take it word for word. the catholic chruch has hospitals all over the world. look at saint jude hospital nammed after a beloved saint

  • only an idiot would live his life based on a book that was written 500 years ago. pull your head out of the sand and do a little research. we live in the information age!

  • @boozehound2010 The over-information age is more like it.... And most of the info is wrong and confusing.. Like your assertion of 500 years... the new testament is documentably over 1800 years ago.. the Old testament much older...

  • as a christian I admit for some reason this touched me...

  • @EKmion The human struggle over a conflict is a universal feeling. I also remember being strangely inspired by a well done Christian commercial involving some kick ass music, directing, and a sword.

Either way, it may have also struck a cord. As someone who also once took pride in what I thought was my undying faith, I urge you question everything. Best regards, brother.

  • @DamienZshadow I have... alot of times I try not to think about it from both sides,

  • @EKmion It is a long and frightening journey to seek truth. Nothing is scarier than the fear of eternal damnation so I completely understand any hesitation. Just know that there are many who share in your struggle and if you are honest and open minded with yourself, a true good God would not hate you for it.

I know it would have helped me a lot if I had someone to talk to in my years of doubt, so if you ever feel like dropping a direct message, you're more than welcome to.

  • this is sad ill give u that. but the reason why this world is so fucked up is because man kind. if evry one followed the rules of the bible the world would be at peace. god gave us free will as a gift for we can think for our selfs. how do you thinkk we was made by a big dang , no its bull shit. can a big bang give you feeling for one another no, its something god gives u. how do u explain exorcisms when that person is levitating 15ft in the air and speaking in latin and is all knowing.

  • @85nicole07

That's right, ignore the points made in this video, ignore the 'fact' (wink-wink) that ur god, as per the bible, is a serial baby-killer (exod 12:29) an animal abuser (exod 29:18) & a genocidal maniac (deut 2:32-35) place ur mind in neutral & carry right on spewing forth bullshit & lies

Eg ur words: "how do u explain exorcisms when that person is levitating 15ft in the air & speaking in latin & is all knowing"

U wudn't happen to have any video footage of this wud u?

    Of course not :D

  • @atrumira god protects all forms of life you cant go by the old testament. that story was about freeing the slaves from that the king i forgot his name.

i do not have video footage, but the vatican does my uncle is a priest and has seen it. he tells me sometimes he cant sleep because the devil is at the foot of his bed just looking at him. you may think he is crazy but hes not. just because you choose to think feely wont protect you from him. he wont come up to you now because he already has u.

  • @85nicole07

The OT was the story of UR god who killed, tortured, terrorized the enemies of the Jews, in fact the way ur god solved all his problems was via killing & torturing.

As for "that was the old testament" etc This is all it takes?? Do away with ur old slaughtering, murdering, torturing ways, come up w/ a new scheme (believe or else eternal torture) to force ppl to worship u & write a new book

Imagine a serial murderer claiming he's turned over a new leaf & he has a book to show for it

  • @atrumira Exodus is about a Pharoah who killed babies (Ex 1:16 and 1:22), persecuted the hebrews mercilessly (1:11), was given progressively numerous plagues and warnings (ch's 7-12) which could have stopped the whole thing, if the pharoah relented. Even later, any egyptian that wanted to be saved could have joined the Hebrew in the Passover... Time permiting, all the other cases of so called "animal abuse" and "genocide" can also be easily refuted by anyone who actually reads the entire text.

  • @tsapenathpaneah "exodus is about a Pharoah who killed babies"

In that book of bullshit xians revere so much ur god habitually resorts to murder/torture/genocide to solve his problems. A bad guy, the Pharaoh, kills some babies & the only solution ole' pissy-pants can come up with is to KILL BABIES.

And if u attempt to justify this in any way then u are justifying the slaughter of the innocent.

U CANNOT EXPLAIN AWAY A MONUMENTALLY IMMORAL ACT JUST BECUS U FEEL IT IS CONNECTED TO A HIGHER POWER.

  • @atrumira The anology is; someone comes in your house with his family, kills all your kids... You tell him to get out or your will kill him or his eldest... he refuses.. Is it your fault if you retaliate?

You're characterization of these acts as murder/torture/genocide is not fair, especially in the context of the times. Sometimes, you have to fight fire with fire.

Who are you to judge what is Immoral, anyway? The "xians" are the only reason any moral code exists by which you can accuse any1.

  • @tsapenathpaneah

Once again: U CANNOT EXPLAIN AWAY A MONUMENTALLY IMMORAL ACT JUST BECUS U FEEL IT IS CONNECTED TO A HIGHER POWER.

And it's absurd for u 2 claim xians are moral* when u think it's ok to kill an innocent party (re exodus, inc BABIES) in retaliation for a crime & by the standards of law this wud equate to MURDER

    * xianity IS an obscenity, murderers & rapists rewarded for suspending rational thought meanwhile ppl whose only 'crime' is that they don't feel like u r tortured forever

  • @atrumira We never say it's OK to kill innocents. It is Immoral to kill INNOCENTS. Please tell me who condones that... You are telling flat out lies.. No Judeo-Christian religion rewards murderers and rapists. All our laws, in fact, are based in large part on religious law.

Part of being a "higher power" is that you know a lot more than the "lower powers"... like who is innocent and who is not... As far as what people believe or their final destiny; the church says God judges that, not us.

  • @atrumira Is it immoral to kill someone who burns their babies alive in fire? Is it immoral to kill those who drown your babies in a river? Is it immoral to detroy a country whose people want to wipe you from the face of the earth? Is it immoral to kill cattle and chicken by the hundreds of thousands to feed humans? Is it immoral for the lion to eat the gazelle? is is immoral to step on a bug? It is absurd for you to pass judgement on God! God has never commanded killing innocent humans.

  • @atrumira God only asked two people to kill an innocent one in the bible: He asked Abraham to kill Isaac, as a test, which He halted and substituted the Ram caught in the bush. The other time, God asked to Son, Jesus, God in the Flesh, to let himself be killed for our sakes. To become OUR "whipping boy". That's it.. no other time did he command the kiling of innocent human life.
