  • This may have been said before, because I've not looked at all the previous comments...

But, I was suspicious immediately when I saw this pop up; as it has dozens of times, because it was displaying drives C and D. We don't even have a drive D. So, how can that be?LOL

  • heappened to me 5 min ago i knew it was fake when it said i had 167 trojans in my computer and 100 viruses in my memory.

  • i saw this on windows 7

  • I've been using that antivirus for 11 months...

  • once i fell for it. security master av=gayest thing ever

  • i have malwarebytes pro

  • The funny thing is, I got this pop-up not too long ago and knew it was fake right off the bat. How?

    iPods don't run on Windows.

  • 67.168.173.4

    is that your real ip

  • Yes, I had this problem last year. It IS the virus. My dad has had this on his Window's XP and somehow got rid of it but it took a few day's.

  • @cooldude1836 No dude, it's Javascript. It is how you get the virus if it fools you into clicking too many butons.

  • I got this SAME excact window, and I knew it was fake beacuse everything looked the XP, but I was running 7. Thank GOD!

  • I was using Windows Classic theme when I came across this. I thought it was funny how it was trying to impersonate Windows XP as well.

  • I saw it on my android phone and im like Lololol

  • Avira Is free For everyone and has one of the best detection rates :) it Detected an Virus in my video game and deleted it and i play

  • Lol! I just came across that virus today xD I was looking up Optical Illusions :o

  • This popped up once i was using youtube to look up funny vids it showed the old 2009? Windows anti-virus program i knew this was fake bechause i had a lenovo intel dual-core processor. PWND STUPID LYING WEBSITE CRAP!!

  • how do u get malwarebytes

  • @dragonstriker25 You download it on the site.

  • that thing poped up lots of times for me

  • a time i was just starting my dad pc because he asked me to do it, when it started, after the welcome message, this window popped up and i yelled at my dad: dad! there viruses on your PC! my dad was running downstair to see it fastely, he already said: it's fake, there no anti-virus like that and my real anti-virus would detected them...

  • 3 Simple steps, to avoiding this website.

1.If you have a different operating system other than Windows XP, look at the pop up boxes. They have blue outines, so if yours does not that it is fake.

    2. If the whole screen has a blue box with Documents and Settings in, just press whatever key you normally escape full screen with. If you escape full screen, it is fake.

    3. No Windows? Fake.

So no need for system restorations, unless you are a real dumbo :) ( Do not take offence by this. )

  • This pops up when your playing Roblox!

    D:

  • of course this shits fake lmfao

  • so this happened to me today but i didnt download anything......i cancelled and ignored, i turned off my computer and tirn it back on and nothing happened like i have no new programs so because i ignored the problem do i have this in my computer??????? PLEASE HELP. basically did i do the RIGHT THING by pressing ignore and leaving.

  • @astup1dnoob Always use ctrl+alt+delete and end it instead.

just run a virus scan to see.

  • jhjfvnhjvxhkvhjfgvhvjxvxhjvcxhjvkhvfxfxvhvfnfvnnononnononononnononononononnononononnoghdflhkdxfkhdvfh!!!!!!!! U GOT FALED FOR A FAKE ANTIFIRYS BUT FAKE IS NOT GOOOD!!!

  • im glad i was on ubuntu when this happened...

  • uh thats not fake its real

  • I got on this page (I have windows 7 so i noticed it right away) , but I'm not sure if I clicked on that x or not...

So my question is: does somebody know if symantec endprotection finds this kind of stuff?

  • Thank god trusted programs like Kaspersky and Avast exist :)

  • oh I got this on my Windows 7. I was pressing alt +f4 super quickly to exit

  • OMG that happened to me check out my facebook users beware vid

  • i saw this on a mac

  • @jovenronron i saw this on linux

  • That popped up when I was on Roblox like 33 times already

  • @Pikarissa18 Same with me

  • will the virus get into my pc if I click on "cancel"?

I've did a quick scan with malwarebytes and avast, they didn't find anything

so I hope it didn't download automatically that stupd fake trojan horse virus on my pc =s

  • @ArsiekDHOL I would like to know the same thing, because l closed out and I'm scanning right now. So far nothing...I'm kinda scared now

  • If it won't allow you to access system restore there are some other steps you can take, but it is a more elaborate procedure.

  • @SpencerMoney prob ur mic check the settiing bro

    but good vid anyhow :D

  • I started a scan with malwarebytes, but it only found 2 infections. I removed these infections and restarted my computer. To my suprise, it popped up again!! help me!!

  • @itsTORIbetch Try to do a system restore to before the point in time when you encountered that website.

(All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> System Restore) That should solve the problem.

  • @SpencerMoney thank yooou! that helped :D

  • @SpencerMoney That's obviously the most retarded solution ever.

  • @SpencerMoney I can't system tools on my accessories page. What do i do? This has taken my main CPU hostage and its really annoying.

  • @SpencerMoney this thing i have is called malware protection. It has blocked my system restore too -.-

  • @itsTORIbetch it pops up because the site your going to can be infected or hacked, this happened several times and the numbers are rising

  • @jeffrey625625 thanks for the help but I fixed the problem a while ago :) It took a while, but I managed..

  • @itsTORIbetch well im a great computer guy if you want full anti virus protection avg is here 4 you avg internet security tested

  • @itsTORIbetch kill the program in task manager in processes then remove the program

  • @itsTORIbetch Make sure you have the most up-to-date version. Get another antivirus too, if that will help.

  • @24681again Its fine I wrote that comment 9 months ago so its already fixed Lol

  • @itsTORIbetch Oh, okay. XD I didn't notice.

  • i went onto a random website and then all of the sudden this window pops up. It looks legit, it says AVG Identity Protection - Malware detected. I am very suspicious of it though. RIght away, i shut off my computer, and when i got back on, IT STILL POPPED UP AGAIN. It also blocks all the windows I open up, and when I do esc or alt+f4, it doesnt close.

  • Will it blend?

  • you can tell its fake if you see "your computer" on the internet -____-

  • i once downloaded that and i have windows 7 it played a origanal windows sound so i deleted

  • My sister put this shit on my laptop when I let her borrow it... now I cant restore it, watch youtube, play games. I cant do anything. I never get anti virus software because its a virus itself. when they give you trials. the trials are virus's so they can make profit off you thinking you never knew how many virus's were going to your computer. they lie. I need a solution.

  • @sadperkion you should have done recovery a week ago. sorry, no ideas here.

  • heh, pc docter, my mom fell for it, its a real anti-virus, but just comes unfairly

  • This happened to me yesterday . -_____- stupid idiots .

  • I clicked the X, what should i do?

  • I know if it fake or not lol because all those web page show win xp my computer and I'm using windows 7 LOL it happen to me once but I press exit :P

  • I CLICKED IT WUT I DO???

  • can you plese give me a link to that site i searched it but i get a differnt site. do i have to click something??????????

  • @mrcoffeerush Yes, but *usually* you have to click somewhere on the page to allow that to happen. To sum up the video, I was explaining how to close the page without clicking on the page to execute the script that would install malware. If you use noscript, then you're pretty well protected against these. I randomly made this video over 2 years ago, can't believe it still gets so many views and comments.

  • noooooo u r using a flipping mac!!! i hate macs, so complicated i didnt even know how to change anything on em! ive tried this on vista, it's just shitload that website and i have gone on it like 2 times now! i waited to the end of it and nothing happened just shut the browser and done xd

  • OMG so i dont have a virus. as soon as i saw that i just Turned off my computer and ran in safemode to check. So i guess if i just log back in it wont be there. WOOT thanks!!!!

  • lol avg didn't dettect that virus...avg sucks

  • @thepredatorwinner It's not a virus, so there is nothing to detect. Its a webpage.

  • Comment removed

  • I hate cocksucking hackers!! When I went on my computer, I went on the history and it said something about Rule 34, whatever the hell that is. I never went on this thing, so it must mean someone is hacking me and went on it!

My Symantec endpoint always says it's turned off and that I need to click on "this balloon to fix this problem". I do, but because I'm the 'User' account of the computer, I can't because I have to be administrator! WTF! DX

  • There are many fake AV's on the net, I've had several. The woman the fixed my computer the last time said you can get a virus on the net in 5 minutes. I run Norton, Comcast Pest Control, Malwarebytes, Spybot, but prolly the best I've found is Firefox web browser with no script and ad block add on's. Firefox blocks most of the crap before it gets on my computer, rather than having to scan and remove it later.

  • @clintonearlwalker Yup.. blocking Flash and Javascript, preferably with Noscript, is by far the best protection. Amazingly, noscript is free. Noscript will soon be available for Chrome also. One more great way to protect yourself on the net is to use a hostfile. Hostfiles can be a pain though, it's nice to have a util that will toggle it on and off, since it can be an interference at times. I wanted to make a folowup video to this one about Noscript and Hostfiles, but I never have time. :)

  • @SpencerMoney I've never heard of a hostfile. I don't have Chrome, but I'm think about getting it, one chat room I use won't work with Firefox or IE and they recommend Chrome. I love No Script, it's fabulous, ad block is equally great. I once found some youtube ads and I had ad block turned on. I e-mailed them and the people at ad block fixed it the next day and e-mailed me back to make sure the ads were gone. No Script asks for donations, I feel kind of bad that I didn't. I might yet.

  • @SpencerMoney Dude can i have the lin kto that? Im gonna try an anti virus out.

  • Do not trust PC confidental....got 7 trogans and a program failure blue screen

  • This is what is is.

    A virus program.

It really fake because I watched a video and someone had windows vista and the antivirus or what I call it virus,it has the windows xp theme.

    DON'T FALL FOR THIS!

IT'S PUTTING THE VIRUSES INTO YOUR COMPUTER!

  • i can't even use malwarebytes. itblocks it before i can even open it. i used safe mode and it said i didn't have any viruses.

  • Oooh yeah I remember that thing. Rly made me piss myself cuz i was 8 years old :D

But it's pretty simple to avoid 'em now :-)

  • holy shit and cheese macarones,i got on site accidentaly and i closed it within seconds, scanned and nothing found..that was close

    firefox ftw

  • @KRAUSER0130 pretty much the same story today happened with me. The problem is that i cannot recall that did i pressed the little red stuff before i i pressed alt+f4 or nut. avg and nod 32 haven't find anything but i better get my registry checked. any idea how

  • @524K4LT well i just scanned ram and system and it was nothing found, and dont worry for registry, mine still work, and yes,if you can roll your system back few days before that happened,i did same and now all work fine

  • Anit Virus 2008, 2009, 2010 Is Rogue Anti Spyware

  • SPEAK THE FUCK UP

  • @TOMMY95215 Yes man. Obviously the volume was low when I recorded this. Nothing I can do about it now. With 20 thousand views on the video and mostly positive feedback it's not worth deleting.

  • @SpencerMoney You're right sorry man i freaked out back there :P Having a bad day i suppose. Not gunna see ma gf for a week so... soz dude

  • @TOMMY95215 Cool man. Thanks, I was having a bad day too. Happy Thanksgiving.

  • I can't hear shit.

  • @YesYou123333 I know, I made this video and I can't hear shit either. It still amazes me the video has received so many views and positive feedback. Maybe I'll make a better one and upload it as a response. Probably about time to do that.

  • @TurkeyDano69 go to internet setting from either within internet explorer or control panel (whichever you can access) and then go to internet setting and change all the settings back to default specially the connection settings... this means make sure that it isn't using any proxy's ... (my dad had this before and i fixed it)

  • the website is shown at 01:08 idiots ..

  • i have exactly the same problem.. how do i delete this virus pls??

  • @WWWarcticmonkeysCOM If you just got this as a pop up, as I said in the video, it's a fake, you don't have a virus unless you were fooled and clicked around on it a few places to install their junk. If you did, then download and install 'Malware Bytes' - a free program. Do a quick scan and then a full scan and you should be good to go.

  • @stomosvary thanks man problem solved now!

  • @WWWarcticmonkeysCOM Welcome.

  • Thank you for sharing this information.

    i will subcribe

    and rate a thumb up.

  • i got tricked buy this before and it said i had bad media then i scanned computer with spybot search and destroy and it said i had bad media LOL does that mean i have porn?

  • Epic fail trojan...... its in my database!

  • can you get rid of it with norton or windows defender cuz those are the only antiviruses i have

  • @fanofzimmertwins Tips: Get some other av's, like Malwarebytes or avast!...

  • @fanofzimmertwins Windows Defender is about worthless. Norton is alright, but not great. It has a high false positive rate and misses lots of legit threats.

  • @SpencerMoney i use norton internet security 2011 and it's great !

  • @SpencerMoney whats better kaspersky norton or nod32??? my friends say i need to get kaspersky

  • @LatviaRullz1 Kaspersky has some features not available with the others I wouldn't want to be without. Nod32 is known to be better than Norton. The 2011 versions of these I'm not sure about though, I'm evaluating Kaspersky 2011 right now and it's a little over-protective which annoys me.

  • that website is like a program

  • is superantispyware fake?

  • @stickmandude97 No, Super Antispyware is legit software, though it's not very effective. Try Spybot Search and Destroy and Adaware for better equivalents. Malwarebytes is excellent for Malware, they all detect different things.

  • @stomosvary SAS is good at removin trackin cookies...

  • fuck hakers hope each of them get tortured to fuckin death

  • @gamerguy681 Hackers are depressed programmers...or antivirus company employees! :-D

  • @gamerguy681 agreed!

  • thank;s dude this thing tried to trick me a while ago but the thing is that I was using asus splashtop browser XD so all I did was go back while the 'scan' was not yet done and it worked

  • luckily i was able to reboot my computer and delete the virus

  • I had this virus like 2 years ago it was pretty bad the first time i got it when I was on this site that im always on and never has viruses until I got this pop up saying u got viruses please register for antivirus 2008 and I clicked no and it just went straight back to the antivirus 2008 I exited out restarted the computer their antivirus was on my computer and it was anoyying as hell then I got these fake adds saying ur computers gonna crash and then it made me go to there boot screen.. CRASH

  • @masker999 You use mozilla? Get this addon called "WebOfTrust", its really good.

It shows the ratings of people for the website. Even link scanners show porn sites as "Safe" ....

  • i just reported a site for that

  • i went onto a site yesterday and that popped up so i got off of the stupid site

  • This has happened to me twice now. :(

First on IE and now on FF...

  • @TurkeyDano69 Yes, use noscript with firefox and those scripts can't run without your prior permission. Also adblocker is an alternative to noscript. Using a host file will help too.

  • I get this when im on deviantart =.=`

and thats when im looking for backrounds T~T

  • I will now randomly get thumbs up

  • @alexalvarez1998 lol, if you say so. I'll give it a vote.

  • I JUST GOT THIS A FEWMIN AGO LOL WEN IT POPPED UP I CLOSED IT I WAS LIKE AHAHAHA LOSER GTFO :D

  • These viruses are created by greedy ppl with dick up their ass

  • i had this

  • @Mw2Snipeshot360 Me too.

  • i have fallen victim to this once, except it didn't show the fake window in the background. but then the viruses had suddenly stopped and then i downloaded avg trial and that removed some viruses and trojan generators. i know have norton now and i have not had a problem since then.

  • i shit my pants when this came up on my computer XD

  • If you have a Mac. You don't have to worry.

  • @327bran that's damn straight

  • @327bran That's a misconception. That's like saying if you don't drive you won't get into a car accident. Mac's have had less problems with viruses because they have only had a small percentage of the market share so programmers have written less viruses for Macs. Macs get viruses too. Now that they are becoming more popular they will get more viruses too. They are actually less secure than PC's for many reasons and as they become more popular, more malware will be designed to attack them.

  • @SpencerMoney I have never seen a virus for Linux , or BSD .

I use Linux Ubuntu , and Linux Mint 100% free OS.

  • @SpencerMoney what are the many reasons? btw i have a pc but i think ur talking a load of bs...

  • @327bran umm macs can get malware you know, just computer noobs have been saying macs dont get viruses when they do.

  • @327bran NOT TRUE, Some Rouges are ment to fuck up Macs. - AnE Productions

  • oh i seen this before, they make a webpage look like ur c drive thing lol.. i just back out.. :D

  • what is the address of the virus site?

  • @JmaesN and all else who keep asking me- Seriously ppl, I'm not posting the address of the site or sending anyone viruses who wants to make a video about them. Besides I think its against TOS. If you're as savvy as you think you are, you can easily find one of these sites or a virus/malware to remove for your video.

  • It is fixed now I using firefox right now not exploer

  • okay, so can you run malware bytes now? run a quick scan then a full scan. use IE8 to do an online scan from fsecure, eset or trendmicro housecall or a combination.

once you're system is mostly clean, uninstall and reinstall your other browsers. you can leave your settings/bookmarks still there in the process.

  • Umm when I do a system restore the only internet broser I can use is explorer 8

  • @HackerOfDarkness also ccleaner can fix some registry problems you might be having.

  • @HackerOfDarkness HijackThis from TrendMicro too!

  • Umm what happens if you can't open malawarebytes because of the fake anti virus.

  • @HackerOfDarkness You can try a system restore, running it from safe mode, or if you're using XP - rougefix. Beyond that it gets technical and depends on what it does let you do and doesn't. You may have to use tools to restore policies and registry changes that close the app and manually remove much of it. The version of windows determines a lot of the course of action also. Recovery console or repair options. Let me know how I can help you.

  • i got that, its sad because thats the old format for windows XP. I have windows 7. The better format. Nice try, fake-ass computer virus shit.

  • TY TY TY TY TY if i didnt see this vid like 1 week after i went to this website i wouldve been dead D-E-A-D DEAD i was on this mp3 download but the website was all white with some blue on it and stuff.luckily it even said webpage was bringing somthing up and stuff so luckily that i saw his...maybe there really is a god out there idk but im SO happy (1000$ laptop!!!)

  • @beyondme777 Awesome - glad I could help. When I made this vid like a year and a half ago it was so random and spontaneous. I came accross that pop up and was like, that crap fools a lot of people, I'm gonna make a vid about it. I've been so surprised that it's been viewed so many times and had so many comments and ratings. One day when I have time I'm gonna make some more vids and put it on a computer blog, but been busy working on like 6 difference sites. So I haven't done it yet.

  • whats the name for the virus site?

  • Why do you want a link to intentionally go to a potentially malicious site? I'm not gonna publicly post that.. if you really wanna know, PM me, but there are lots of them, shouldn't be to hard to find.

  • @SpencerMoney Probably to infect a Virtual PC.

  • what is the link of that dake virus?

  • This did not fool me EVEN THE SMALLEST BIT

It had a Windows XP Theme, I have Vista, it said Win32XP

I have 64Bit Vista, and I have AVG and it found a virus this had caused which had force downloaded :P
