@aaronparody arron for your house to have npcs in it you need to have 1. a chair 2. a table 3 a door 4 a light source 5 a backdrop and 6 no1 living in it in the first place enjoy

@aaronparody it need to be at least 8 blocks wide and 4 blocks tall,

you need at least 1 door in your house, the background wall may not be made of dirt(needs to be confirmed), your house needs 1 stool and 1 table/work bench, corruption must be 49 blocks away, and the floor of a room must have at least 1 solid block so not only wooden platforms

i know how to use acorns...

u need a clay pot by crafting one by your furnace....

then use an acorn in the pot and ina few sec. it will grow into a plant

What do you go when your guild falls into a cave? It is super deep and I don't even live near it any more so its a pain having to run all the way over to him when even I'm not connected to the internet.

@Ovalusc1 Do you have a house built for him? If you do, he will eventually move in. If for some reason he doesn't get a guide voodoo doll, kill him, and later he will respawn.

@anarcyfighter91 if you mean back walls, then you make them at the workbench from different materials. The most basic is "wooden wall." Use the hammer to delete them.

If you haven't found out yet, acorns are for replanting trees. You can only place them on grass, and you have to keep the weeds away from them.

@EccentricBriChu You can make them in trees. You just have to put wood or dirt next to them and put platforms in between up to the top and you can build your house ontop of the tree or even above it. You can then chop the tree down if you like and your house wont fall.. but if you want the tree there thats fine, i have several tree houses.. once your platforms are all there you can remove the dirt wall next to the tree.

You can plant acrons and grow trees of your own, that's pretty much the only thing you can do with them, or you can sell them for 2 copper each :P

Kind of a stupid question, but how do you "consume" an item? I've found a few heart crystals and star whatevers, but I can't figure out how to use them to increase health and mana...

some tips, right click to pick up torches, zombies can go down the wooden platforms, the hammer will remove placed objects like your crafting table, and acorns are used to plant trees. good video keep it up

@VerbalProcessing jcnad890 is incorrect, actually. If you google "origins of minecraft", you'll find Notch's Tumblr post describe EXACTLY what his inspiration was for Minecraft. Specifically, Infiniminer, and his own prototype, RubyDung. This post was in October 2009. I don't know when development for Terraria began, but I can assure you Notch did not get his idea from Terraria. It wasn't "made before minecraft." Both are great games, and neither game is a rip-off of anything! :)

@tjhall1000 What do you mean by work? It will still keep stuff out as long as it doesn't come up from your mine. It won't be suitable for NPCs if there are holes in it. You can just build more rooms for them though.
