There are free SSL cert's out there on the net, the one I got (I will get the link), but they allow them only for personal use.
One thing this guy didnt explain is, you must have an email address existant for that domain to check its authenticity, this is compulsary, to make sure you are the person whos requested the SSL, you say yes in that email and they will then send back an email with the link to how to install it.
With webmin its pretty easy to setup using its interface.

I use Apache and a redirection service. All free. It's setup just to access my files (password protected) and a couple of web pages.
