Let's face it. Miles is Miles.....No one like him ever played the trumpet. Many hated that he played to the floor and between his legs.....I say he is the true spirit of jazz. Do it your way and no one else's! He even shushes the audience......WOW!
This song is cool the way Miles does it, because if you check out the youtube vids of each time he does it live, he does it different each time, in the true spirit of jazz improvisation. Some can't figure out why such a jazz great would do a cyndi lauper song, but if Miles does it, I think that is kind of self-explanatory, like hey, do you really think Miles would do something lame? Maybe, but not on this song as far as I'm concerned, because it speaks to me.
