In my experience, Hornets like this are scary and dangerous to people. Praying mantis wil crawl on your leg and freak you out but..they just sit there and almost fall asleep. My dad used to play with Mantis, but never Hornets. I prefer to watch and not touch bugs.

Has any of you ever seen a Japanese Giant Hornet in real life? I have! I have seen one of those motherfuckers a few times and trust me they are the most scariest insects you will ever see or hear. You hear one before you see one because they make this huge helicopter noise as they fly, then when you see one nearby, you will be running for your life because they are a lot bigger than your thumb. They have painful bites, and their stings are venoumous and can kill even a man.
