Ok first not all germans are nazis and not all japs are kamakazis and bad people it was only the ones who followed and helped with the war so dont blame the whole entire race cause half of the germans (not including Nazis) had no idea what was going on until the end of the war

this should not be made a comedy.. it should be made as decent action sci-fi. The Nazis, comming back with superiour but still brute technology, have simply too much potential for being the ultimate nemesis, which should not be wasted for some half-baked jokes!

The worst murders. Americans almost exterminated a whole race, the native americans. They are also the only ones who used an atomic bomb. Also the only nation who still try to run the world with any means.

The Nazis almost exterminated an entire race - the Jews - quite famously. WW2, which they started, resulted in over 61 MILLION deaths. Oh, and the Nazis were the one building a reich, not us.

I'd look at Tjw1090's comment, but on top of that, I wouldn't call the Japanese innocent any more than I would call the Germans innocent. The Japanese, displaying amazing strategic abilities, decided to try to take out the Navy, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths, destroying billions of dollars' worth of ships and equipment, and dragging America into a needless war across the Pacific. I think they well deserved it.

Not to mention that, if we had caused as many deaths through conventional bombing, I don't think anyone would have thought anything of the event. There's little controversy over any other bombings, although they caused more casualties than Little Boy and Fat Man put together.

First of all: no one deserves that.

Second of all: What's the point talking and fighting about WW2 and argue about which country WAS worst, mine or yours or some else? It's past and i think it should be objektively pointed out f.ex. in films, which means no more pro-allies WW2 movies please.. It would be refreshing to see pro-nazi WW2 movie. I really am very VERY strongly against everything nazis stood for, but still, it would be only reasonable and fascinating to have both sides in the movies!

Just because it's history doesn't mean we need to portray each side as being good. I don't mind portraying Nazis as being human -- Hitler wasn't like the Emperor from Star Wars. That doesn't mean they weren't evil. And their principles of national socialism and their xenophobic genocidal concepts...

The protagonists of a movie should be people you can side with -- not racist fascist dictatorships.

But, if you think such a movie would be fascinating, that's a matter of opinion, I guess.

Soldiers are civilians, WW2 had a huge draft. And if you have a problem with breaking the back of the population at large, then that also means you are opposed to Sherman's march to the sea, which means by default you opposed the union and supported the confederacy.

@Matvo86 What do you think would have happened to those citizens, had the United States invaded Japan? What do you think US and British bombers were doing for the entirety of World War II? The amount of civilians killed by the atomic bombs dropped on Japan was about 100,000. The amount of civilians killed throughout the war was -- ready? -- 52 million. If we had invaded, the civilian death count would have been far, far, greater.

1. No. Just, no. The Native Americans were attacking us right off the bat. When Christopher Columbus came to the Carribean, he left several of his men behind to start a colony. When he returned, guess what? They'd all been killed. I don't see how you can sympathize with the warmongering barbarian tribes we fought off.

2. So did every other European country on Earth. Surprise!

But genocide is one of the few things I'm NOT expecting from the modern world, unless the extremists get into power.
