  • the view is amazing, nice shot

  • I'm french and i don't understand this short film!

  • The digital film revolution has meant that the world is now full of talented people with incredible technical skills. The problem is that only about 5% know how to combine those skills with the ability to tell a story.

  • Shot well. I like the idea of not fully knowing what is going on, except I didn't like it just ending like that.

  • Cool vid....shot well

  • Don't understand why everyone keeps on pointing out the mistakes. And saying that it only fit's as a "test movie". I for one Absolutly love the feeling of not really knowing what's going on. And as far as MrHarveyboy123 being top comment atm.. His comment.. Just sad. Freaking love it. Love the whole setting, shoting and acting together.

  • Interesting. I thought the punch line would be Mr. Tired letting his car continue to roll away. Is it my slow computer, or is DSLR usually slow to load when watching online? Keep up the good fight/producing.

  • what do you want ?

  • hey what's the best mp4 compressor. what's ur's?

  • Im tired of watching this

  • Excellent testing, shooting and audio editing.

Please consider to watch my short film "KATARSIS". Just enter my account, roll down and select the last video on the list. The titles are in Spanish (I am Spanish), but as the film has no dialog, you should have no problem understanding.

    Best wishes.

  • Not the best three minutes of my life.

  • Where was the climax?

  • @RuafMichael after interval..:-)

  • I don't get it......

  • Well I don't know about you but I liked it.

  • WOW THIS FILM IS SO COOL

  • Guyssss!!!!He is tired!ok? He forgot why he was stopped there..His tire was not flat!!! Sp 4 u to understand...simple...He is so tired that he forgot why he was stopped there and he thought that the reason was that his tire was flat...got it? wonderful idea!great job!!!Smart!!

  • minuto 1:12 se ve toda la producción reflejada en el celular.

  • lolololololololol...the title "tired" had to do with the fact that he got a flat tire.

  • Tyred?? :p

  • meh, meh and meh, why didnt you call it watching paint dry

  • 60 fps? ew

  • That was an easy video to dislike

  • Hello guys 1:10!

  • YES! Finally a short where the acting isn't embarrassing! Thanks!!! :)

  • bro you make it great at sounds, camera angle, and everything good in the movie.. but i cant see what the title mean.. keep the good work dude!

  • this is 3 minutes 14 seconds too long

  • The Sound Design is amazing! Well done!

    - GNMfilms

  • what lens did you use?

  • what settings did you use?

  • looks like jim from the office haha

  • Um.... What was the film going on about???????

  • can see the whole crew in the reflection when the black suv passes by . i'm glad you called this film a test because this is all it should be called.

  • 1:45 man that looks like it is a professional movie .. how did you achieved that ? do you use 50mm f1.4?

  • um...i'm quite a fan of abstract...but wtf was that? that made NO sense.

  • What lens was used? Was it an anamorphic one?

  • wtf is the booshit

  • camera man in phone reflection! :D

  • @TheShinishio it was not the cameraman but a sound engineer.

  • @CocktaiLMolotovX there is a sound engineer in the road?

  • the camera man's reflection was seen from the phone

  • WTF?

  • what did you use to capture the audio, it sounds amazing

  • @ammaryk1011 shot MOS. All sound in post.

  • @gnatto whats MOS bro ?

  • @ammaryk1011 meaning did not record the sound as we shot it.

  • I'm suddenly so fucking tired

  • You forgot to crop your picture at 1:32. Nice film anyway

  • i can see da camera on da phones reflection

  • That was very intriguing! I actually loved it! even though I have no clue what the story is, I think it was an amazing little film. I also think the post sound design was spot on! Great JOB!!! =)

  • You can see someone at 1:12 from the reflection of the phone lol

  • Hi! I just wondered what type of program you use to edit your short films? They're really great and I loved this one. Beatiful images! Thanks for reply!

  • Canon 5d TEST! they dont used specials lents, or special lightning or special effectes like slow mo, is just a test!!!

  • It looks good but...... I don't get it?

  • Any thoughts on why he's trying to change a tire that's not flat? In addition, perhaps he's not actually trying to jack up the car? He has no crowbar. Can't keep turning it with his hands.

  • pretty cool however, your audio with the cars passing when he gets out of the car pan the wrond why. When a car goes from left to right your audio goes right to left and vise versa.

  • Just keep pressing 5 :)

  • 1:54, it's funny somehow

  • I dont know if it makes much of a sense. But a few days ago, I helped a taxi driver to change his flat tire. The car was slightly downhill. No one realized that we couldn t do the job till we placed the jack. This one twisted and the car almost fell.

I guess this would have happened to the character at the end if he was tired.

Just a thought...but I somehow love the vid!

  • I don't get it. What is it about? please answer anybody!

  • @rapstar5845 It's about being stressed (and tired of it) in modern society. Notice how he checks the backmirror like there's always something after him.

  • @holm81 yeh i clocked that on just now lol ty anyways!

  • Good camera work.

  • It's Ian from smosh

  • i dont get it .....

  • i loved this! i saw it as an exercise in playing with the audience's assumptions. 1. when he's going through the glovebox, i instantly assumed there was a gun in there. 2. the phone call. "something came up". this line in itself carries with it a sort of stigma. 3. his watching the departing car in the rearview and then getting out of the car. 4. the cars speeding past in the wideshot - i was expecting the typical he-gets-hit-by-a-car-and-shocks-everyone sort of ending.

  • 5. going through the boot with the metal clinking, and then later revealing it was only a car jack.

him reaching into the backseat and munching on the candy was a nice touch. so was him forgetting to pull up the handbrake and the car almost rolling away.

who knows, i may be pulling this all out of my ass and you guys might have just winged it...but whatever! i thought this was superb either way!

  • @Mr.Waterfalls - funny.

    @mrwhitemanvideo - Good question/observa.

@DarthV87 - Good question. Probably left up to the viewer.

Gentlemen filmmakers - an Excellent short - aGAIN!!! ( :

I don't care what kind of lens! - Great work - just in Every Way.

Curiously, he puts the tire-jack under the opposite tire - the front Rt seems low.

So - there more than meets the eye here. Love this.

  • What kind of lens did you use?

  • Huh...? Is he scouting a target on a hit? Don't get it.

  • You can see the camera man and the sound man in the reflection of the car that drives past at 2:05

  • You can see the camera man and the sound man in the reflection on his mobile phone at 1:11

  • the aspect ratio randomly changes for one shot at 1:32-ish :)

  • I......don't understand.

  • i dont get it.

  • i see you reflection in his phone at 1:15

  • tired means this is what you will feel when you are done watching this video

  • i dont get it...

  • is it shot at 30 fps?

  • @kirillaz yeah

  • @gnatto why did you shoot it at 30f and did you use any thing to light up in side the car

  • @gnatto 30 fps ruined the film... You should have converted it to 24

  • Have anyone understood the brilliant wordplay of the title?

  • @mrwhitemanvideo please explain, i did not get it :(

  • @PACH1TV Tired=exhausted (driver), tired=wearing tires (car), tired=worn-out (tires)

  • @mrwhitemanvideo Cool! thanks!

  • i loved this movie.

what camera did you guys use?

  • You say all the audio was done in post preduction? Wow man respect!

    great job

  • This is rubbish, not impressed at all, zzzzzzzzzz

  • Awesome.

What kind of mic did you use?

  • @TheActionService Our mic turned out to be broken on the day. So all the audio was done in post.

  • @gnatto well what specific mic was it? haha- sounded good.

  • nope... Just the cameras standard settings.

  • hahaha ok 1:54 - the best part :)

  • oooo myyy goodness whos camera is that?????? that is amazing

  • That was quite strange but very cool. Nice use of sound, especially at the end with the squeaky jack. That would be annoying when you are tired.

  • Resistance is futile.

  • Nice! Of course great video and sound quality. But come on... don't leave an audience hanging like that! ;)

  • I love this ...guys this is amazing! And the actor is super cool

  • Great resolution...and sound! I'm impressed that there's so much wind and so little of it picked up on the mic. I really, really wanted James to puncture the tyre - that would have been the perfect ending for me! i.e. he's so tired...and he's late...he gives himself a flat tyre so that he has a better reason.
