@bctvguy I remember the day he and Jack Carney were on KMOX radio in St. Louis. Carney had a morning show back in the '70s and held a million-plus audience. They both showed up drunk and did the show live. They had to come in the next day and apologize on the air for having been so wasted and using profanity. But I have to say it was one of the funniest moments in live radio that I can remember.

This is my favorite song of all he recorded, & then of course there's "Little Bill Jones".
When I heard of his death, It was like a little piece of my heart went very numb. RIP Mr. Jimmy. Can't wait to hear your singing with the Angels!
