In my opinion, the show was fantastic until after Season 6 ended in 2000. After that, it was all downhill from there. When PBS stopped showing re-runs of the pre-2002 episodes, I quit watching all together.

I loved Barney when I was little, but I think the most reason seasons have separated from its roots of teaching kids manners and respect :))
Why would PBS tell their viewers not to go anywhere when they're always trying to get them off the couch?
