I think it depends on your thoughts really since the video is quite vague and leaves plenty of space for imagination. What i think is The weird guy in the video extracted fun not by watching kids smile and play or nice weather but by killing/harming a living thing, hence he goes in that trans and imagines crops and greenry etc ... in essence his enjoyment was an 'evil' kind.
