@tedsler Unfortunately she had been too inconsistent well before the Olympics, probably since mid-87, while Shevchenko had just won the European Cup, but there you have her... 23 years later we're still talking about Oksana. Where's Shevchenko...?
Absolutely enchanting, and such difficult and original tumbles. Her first pass roundoff backhandspring tripletwist punch front to prone would be considered exceptionally difficult today!! And her dance is just exquisite. She was one of the few gymnasts who actually looked like she was enjoying herself1
