  • These videos remind me why I love Japan.

  • I heard that Antonio got knocked out in this match by Hulk

  • love it!

  • son mucho mas relistas los luchadores de mexico....... pura chingoneria.

  • inoki tried to shoot on bruno sammartino in a match in japan, he found out quick that was a BIG mistake.

  • Japan crowd chanting "America sucks" towards the end... LOL! that's of course towards the "wrestling is fake" idiots here who got nothing better to do.

  • Yokozuna won the WWF Champion against Bret Hart at Wrestlemania 9, thus becoming the first Japanese Champion in WWE History (Gimmick Wise). Vince McMahon got an idea for a man who was a Samoan being a Japanese Sumo Wrestler holding the belt. Also by the way, Akebono is not Japanese either, he is Hawaiian.

  • who won?

  • Top Japanese wrestler vs Top American wrestler.

Too bad WWE doesn't do cross promotion with Japan anymore

  • Wao, that Japanese crowd is scary.

  • how did i get to this shit?? fuckin eatin pickles and cock

  • Wow! Great show! Antonia got in the ring with everyone. I just saw him against Ric Flair in North Korean, then Hulk Hogan in Japan, and now Andrea The Giant. lol

  • gosh. there ARE idiots who think it was all true...what a bunch of stupid morons:) heheheh

  • @KeepHimAtBay the Japanese love wrestling, they know its fake but still they cheer for it, shit Japanese fans are the craziest fans in the world be it Wrestling, MMA, Boxing, K-1, music and baseball to dance competitions......

  • lol Hogan got a clean pin but there was no count. He definitely got the win, but nobody made the call, so the minute Inoki was in the ring before Hogan after mad people interfering, they called Inoki the winner.... then they gave Hogan the belt. Then Inoki threw a fit. This is awesome.

  • too clever for me and I don't understand a word. so please tell me - who da hell won ? :P

  • AXEE BOOMBA!

  • Before any of you accuse Hogan of not selling other wrestlers watch this match and see who got screwed. A title should never change hands on a countout.

  • When Hogan knocked Inoki out using the clothesline I was looking for Chris Tucker to jump out of the crowd and say, "You got knocked the fuck out!"

  • Riki Choshu ruined this match by giving the ralliart to both Inoki and Hogan.

  • wtf happened? No pin, a run in? :(

  • japan cheater , there was the hogan winner of this match

    japan cheat in this match

  • japan cheater , there was the hogan winner of this match

  • wtf hogan was balding in 1984 even?

  • if this was the first time i saw wrestling (this match) i would have thaguth wrestling was real

  • @PentaxKillah they are telling a story, and that has passed for entertainment since the dawn of time.

  • wow, this is exciting.the choreograph, the acting, and the people make it look very real.ive never see hogan fight like this.epic fight and not-so-epic win,but fantastic atmosphere.

  • See, if Hogan had wrestled like THIS in America, we would still be calling Hogan one of the best wrestlers of all time.

  • @SSVCloud Yea he always wrestled better in Japan, I guess you can't be lazy there.

  • @Dicktaa I'm subscribed to the idea that Vince told Hogan to limit his moveset. It makes sense when you look at the fact that wrestling back then was big men, and big men wrestled a certain way. It's also why guys who could come in later like the Undertaker were seen as such phenoms just because they would do things that no one expected a big man to do (like the walking on the rope, or BamBam Bigelow's flips and moonsaults).

  • if don't think it's real don't watch it, go watch a real sport like bowling or badminton, but i never seen a guy get a broken frekn neck in badmitton. so many other things to watch on youtube do peep really feel they need to tell peep something is fake, don't watch it

  • this is very confusing shit

  • hahaha japs think that thats for real:D

  • @YouKnowWhatYouAre yeah.. and I absolutely know that your a fuckn' moron! they treat it as if its legit athleticism, which it is. So they respect it. Your an asshole, so you shit on it.

  • @triplejpm

yes, its for real:) for a 10 year old boy who believes in satna claus it is.

  • @YouKnowWhatYouAre Dumbass

  • @DANIELEk843

    you're homo

  • @YouKnowWhatYouAre grr, you don't get how stupid you sound.. you saying things like that is the equivalent of some douche bag sitting in a movie theater yelling "That was so fake! thats not even a real plane! it's computer animated! mehh he didn't really die, he's just an actor!" thats not really the point, but since you don't get the point of it, and you cant appreciate it... keep your mouth shut.

  • @triplejpm

do you know how stupid YOU "sound"?

cause you are probably the guy that is sitting in the cinema, and when actors are fighting you are screaming your ass off like it was true fight, and when the main actor dies you cry like a baby!! :) hahaha nice comment bro, you kicked your own ass man

  • @YouKnowWhatYouAre that finish was real you're anidiot didn't you hear inoki call hogan a motherfucker this was a double cross!

  • I think the ending wasn't acting, I think they both got really angry and they would fight in realm

  • hogan seemed 2 knock him out lol

    so who won da match

  • @theceng I have no idea who won it>_>? did an audience member just attack them? IDK wth is going on here.

  • @ChrisWatch the story of the match is (as I interpret it because I don't understand Japanese) that the crowd chants "Inoki" at the start, but Inoki has to change the rules of the match to win, which makes the crowd chant "Hogan" by the end. Inoki steals the title, but in the process of doing so Hogan also wins. I'm sure the majority of the crowd came away from that match thinking Hogan beat Inoki.

  • @nervo23 Hogan did beat Inoki a year earlier by legitimately knocking out Inoki with an "Axe Bomber" clothesline. Thus,Hogan was crowned the first IWGP champion and Inoki's aura of invincibility was lost.It was the first time Inoki showed a vulnurability and had to win this rematch in order to regain his honor.Vince must've been watching because we'd later see Hogan return to the WWF, destroy the Iron Sheik for the WWF title and run with it for four years. This was the beggining of "Hulkamania"...

  • lnoki is fucking pussy

  • @BJPen27 Wat do uknw abt him ?? Inoki was in a mixed martial arts fight ...He was not given chance to use wrestling moves because ali had seen him grapple ... STILL he managed to get a DRAW (surviving 15 rounds and giving heavy damage to ali's legs) against Muhammad ali.. If Hulk HOgan stepped into the ring he would've get knocked out in 3 rounds ...

  • haha fake...

  • How many flunkies does Inoki need????

  • Very good match. This is proof that hogan can wrestle.

  • INOKI BOM-BA-YE

  • stupid americanish people!!...

  • actors..

  • 5:23. is that Dick Murdoch near Hogan?!

  • so who won ?

  • @Animehero2008 Looks to me like Inoki, by countout.

  • Hogan was on Bubba the love sponge the other day, and he talked about why he hurt Inoki so bad. It had to do something with Inoki kicking him in the balls and trying to eye hook him (a shoot fighter move), he also said something about him asking Inoki to release a hold and inoki pushing harder. So Hogan took him out. Not that I know if its fake or not, its hard to say if it was all an act or not.

  • What did Inoki say about the WWF at the end?

  • @carter2 Inoki suggested a rubber match for the two champion belts,WWF&IWGP.

  • @ayasofya If memory serves, Inoki did eventually defeat Hogan for the IWGP belt. I'm pretty sure Vince wouldn't let Hogan defend the WWF title over there. I don't know for sure, but that's my impression.

  • Is there a part 3, butoden? thanx for posting.

  • do the audience really think its genuine :P geez

  • @G01DM4N This was before wrestling was exposed

  • @G01DM4N it was a genuine shoot they really get mad it happens!

  • @G01DM4N Would you JUST shut up and let the people and me enjoy the show, JESUS!!!

  • lol at 0:44. The guy in the back went berserk when he thought that Hogan was going to win. If it were the case a possible harakiri was coming

  • @Objectioon Haha XD You're right thats hilarious! So funny to see people notice all these things I never noticed =) thanks for sharing

  • Man, pro-wrestling in the 80's was so much more intense and awesome compared to pro-wrestling of this generation. I really do miss how much the crowd used to get into it!

  • @jimbles666 even chris jericho mentioned in a interview that the quality of pro wrestling matches are declining...many of the those 5 stars match back to the days, which is not gonna be exist anymore. And many of the matches nowaday can only be considered as 1 or 2 star matches back in 70 & 80s.

  • The security at this event was awful! I cannot believe so many people were throwing things into the ring. Also, Inoki has one of the biggest chins I have ever seen!

  • everyone is going crazy

  • damm pro wrestling looked really cool back then

  • @kenseisato1989 Japanese pro wrestling is still like this today. Nothing has changed except for the stars and the moves....

  • so fake

  • @petoboiboi Yes, it's called prowrestling dumbass. Thank you for discovering boiled water.

  • @petoboiboi this is not fake fucking idiot!

  • @siglap1933 are u serious? pro wrestling clearly is

  • @siglap1933 how is this real i mean there is deffintly skill invloved i am not saying there isn't but if they really wanted to KO each other they would just punch the shit out of eachother.

  • Who interferred at 2:17?

  • LOL @ 6:37 Hogan got hit by a water bottle on his face

  • Was it Rikki Chosu who Hogan clotheslined outside of the ring?. Was it Dick Murdoch who was the blonde haired guy wearing orange bottoms?

  • translation? seams Hulk is still butt hurt over pearl harbor what a racist lol

  • WHAT A RIOT. Great ending. The fans were all like "YOU FUCKIN ASSHOLE!!!! YOU FUCKED IT UP!!!!"

    Did the title change hands?

  • @MrZer000 not everyone likes ufc and mma. you can scream and stuff here cheer for the good guys and boo the bad guys you cant do that in the theatres. Also you can't see actors perform live in the theatre. =)

  • @butoden What are you saying that theatre is not live? Theatre is as live as it gets!

  • @jorisewout Theatre is live but i mean cinemas / movies . sorry if i confused anyone but im not a native English speaker so sometimes I get mixed up in words. also it seems theatre is also a place where movies are shown so i get things mixed up sometime

  • @MrZer000 I like Pro Wrestling and I like MMA/UFC One is real one is fake both are entertaining and good. The only problem I have is people who dont get why people like both shows. If you dont like pro wrestling DONT WATCH IT! MMA is a real sport. Its like you are a person who would complain onwhy ppl go to the Harlem Globtrotters instead of watching the NBA.

  • @MrZer000 All competitive fighting is 'staged'. Learn the definition of the word before you throw it around. If UFC was real then they'd put everyone in a bar with weapons and only award the last man alive at the end with a belt. Then do it again a day later. So you'd never have a champion for more than a day. But because they STAGE the events they allow the performers more time to heal between matches, and then MANAGEMENT decides who will fight who. STAGED. Real fights just spontaneously happen

  • @tremorinmysoul If you really think there is no difference between mma and these show-fights, then ur the one who should do his homeworks... did you ever see a real ufc fight? keep watching hogan jumping around...

  • Comment removed

  • @MrZer000 I never said there was NO difference, don't misquote me, I'm simply explaining to you that in a REAL fight - the people involved set out to survive by incapacitating the opponent, sometimes to the point of death, or by escaping. There are no rules. In UFC, MMA, Pro Wrestling, Amatuer Wrestling, Karate, Olympics, etc. the object is NOT to kill the opponent, but to either score points, score a knockout, a submission or a pinfall. Staged fighting. fighting ON A STAGE. With rules. NOT REAL

  • @tremorinmysoul Yea, there are differences... But the difference between a fight, where you have to score some points by hitting the enemy and a fight with relatively few rules (like the UFC) is not the same as the difference between that kind of a fight and a show fight like Wrestling...

You cant say wrestling is also a real fight just because you cant kill the enemy in UFC... thats not the matter... The difference between a REAL FIGHT and a SHOW FIGHT is huge... And Hogan is a SHOW FIGHTER...

  • @MrZer000 I bet you wouldnt fight Hogan the show fighter as you call him!!!!! Hogan competed in the worlds strongest man competition!!! Your UFC or MMA fighters wouldnt fight Hogan in his prime. I bet they would think twice now, and im talking only the heavyweights!!! The others would get killed!!!!!

  • @THETIGERMAN2012 LOL, Hogans just a stupid actor... Schwarzenegger was the strongest man in the universe once, but he had no fighting experiences... So it doesnt only depends just on strengh.

I want to see that Hogan, who survives 5 minutes in the octagon against Brock Lesnar or Rampage Jackson...

Dont make me laugh and now keep watching stage fights, dumb american..

  • @tremorinmysoul You think Hogan couldnt fight for his life if he had to???? Personally I think those matches to the death are SICK!!!!! ANYONE WHO LIKES THEM IS SICK!!!!! ANYONE WHO PROMOTES THEM, OR FIGHTS IN THEM IS SICK MURDERERS AT HEART!!!!!!

  • @MrZer000 These matches are staged as you say. But many times these guys do things you couldnt pay the UFC or MMA fighters to do. Also I would bet in his prime Hogan would squash most of your MMA or UFC fighters in a real fight!!!!! These guys are real athletes, and really put on a show!!!!!

  • Inoki was always full of shit.....in the Ali fight he kept down like a coward.....in the Hogan fight....he cant even reply Hogan NOT ONCE....cummon r u ppl blind?....Hogan is the greatest fighter, the first to lift Andre the Giant, he beat Yokozuno....Hulk the Great Greatest Forever!

  • @vikrama72 incorrect kamala slamed andre in 1977, then harley race slamed him, then stan hansen slamed andre in japan and then hogan slammed andre.

and ric flair is greater than hogan

  • know your history he not the first to lift Andre stan hanson already did before him look it up

  • i didn't know dusty rhodes was in the building

  • Inoki = wrestling legend....Hogan = marketing legend.

  • @buckbumble they both marketing legends

  • @buckbumble Excuse me but Hogan wrestled just as good if not better in this match!!!! I still dont know who won, but I saw Hogan pin him 123, so why wasnt it over??? I never heard of this SOCALLED wrestling legend before I saw him here. Hulk Hogan made wrestling!!!!!!

  • @THETIGERMAN2012 Hulk Hogan made entertainment as WWE deals with it now. Prowrestling in Japan is completely a different thing. Staged, yes. But treated as a sort, not as cheesy soap opera for 5 y/o as with wrestling in America.

  • @buckbumble + Hogan =robbery legend

  • @buckbumble inoki = wrasslin legend and BORING Never BIG in North America watch his match with Ali it was PPV disaster.......Hogan = EXCITING! The Biggest thing to hit japan since GodZilla. The first and Greatest of the new breed...the sports entertainer.....wrasslin is dead!...thank god!....or vince mcmahon? i get those two mixed up lol.

  • @buckbumble your mother=cum receptical

  • People need to stop riding Hogans dick. He wasnt descent in Japan. He was solid yes, maybe..but not more and not less.

  • DRAW!

  • Anthonio Inoki, a great legend!, i hope too see those great legends, on a good video game soon,

  • Why didn't the ref count the pin for Hogan at 0:40?

  • because inoki had his foot on the ropes

  • oh okay, I didn't even notice

  • Nobody, his foot was on the rope.

  • @KennethKaniffFromCT It was a ropebreak. He had his foot on the rope.

  • that was one hell of an act!! Might be fake but they did one heck of a show!

  • @watergrass5150 that wasn't fake inoki was pissed off!

  • inoki is wins

  • wow i can't believe people think this is real

  • @oskilifbonzo

Nobody thinks that. Only people who do are little kids.

  • @jb0609 you're wrong this was real i'm 43 and htis was a shoot!

  • 長州ナイスアシスト!

    猪木への反骨心が見て取れる。

  • なんという試合w

  • Hogan was a descent wrestler while wrestling Japan but a clown in wwf. The problem with Hogan is he wouldnt job and even had contract and creative clauses making him never to lose. This is why all his matches lacked emotion, unlike this bout in 1984 the fans eventually figured it out and knew it would be the same old outcome. With all the hulkamania history, today he is thought of as less of a champion than Hart, HBK, Flair, Angle, Austin, Rce etc.

  • Why should he have jobbed? Dude was on absolute fire back then and came off as legitimately unbeatable. What would have been beneficial about him jobbing?

  • Whats this.......................its a joke.

  • So who won? Inoki? If he did then this is definitely fake cuz Hulk knocked him out five times and he was knocked out only once when that jap bitch came around the side of the ring.

  • That 'Jap Bitch' is being inducted into the hall of fame. What do you say about that?

  • must be a lower bar than i thought

  • Koko B. Ware

  • i say he is and you are not. lol

  • Hogan looks like an alien with that big bulbous forehead.....

  • its technically not fake the action is real the result is predetermined shoot wrestling is the best wrestling actual kicks and punches better than the power wrestling

  • Oh OK I was thinking about the Match in 1983. My bad. Thanks for the Intelligent Response. you didn't call me a moron or a dumb ass like other people would have done.

  • Yea Inoki was really knoecked out by that Axe Bomber but it did have some controversy. he was knocked out but some people think that he took a dive because the Yakuza wanted hogan to win. which suspends the notion that he took a dive because he really was knocked out.

  • Inoki wasn't knocked out. I saw an interview with Inoki about the subject, as well as reading in the Top 100 Pro Wrestlers of All Time by the Wrestling Observer that Inoki had high blood pressure and had to take time off. Vince McMahon didn't want him his new world champion jobbing to Inoki and Inoki wasn't jobbing to Hogan when Hogan likely wasn't coming back to defend any belt he won off of Inoki.

  • What were the crowd chanting?

  • leveled both guys when they were tired and weak lol

  • That was Riki Choshu who leveled both guys at 2:12! The MASTER of Strong Style.

  • Well damn that was awesome!! LOL

  • DWIE JEBANE CIOTY !!

  • I'm going to end this argument right now. Yes, pro wrestling is scripted and therefore fake, especially in the US. However, in Japan especially when this match took place a lot of the striking, punching, and submission moves were real. It's a well known fact that Hulk Hogan legitimately knocked out Antonio Inoki with a lariat in a match. So there.

  • You're partly correct....All Pro-Wrestling, irregardless of the country, is PREDETERMINED!!! True, al ot of the moves/holds/counterholds are aplied for entertainment purposes only (i.e., to get the crowd to react), however, those same moves, if not applied right, can and will injure the wrestler(s). In Japan, wrestling is treated more like a sport. That doesn't mean that today's wrestlers can't wrestle in a style similar to this match. Simply put, MMA and Wrestling are from the same roots.

  • Agreed.

  • Agreed as well...it makes me wonder what kind of people view a classic 80's match and angrily declare it fake. If you knew enough about wrestling to find a match like this, wouldn't you have a general idea how the business works?

  • Oh Snap!!! the other big white haired guy in the the red pants at the end of the match, is Dick Murdock!!!

  • Inoki's highly technical fighting style had Hulk on the ropes most of the match...the Hulkster dug deep and used his sheer brute strength to overcome this particularly dangerous opponent Antonio Inoki....this is perhaps the most dangerous sport in the world

  • It would be a sport if there is no scripted acting and theater in it.While this match hasnt got any, many of today's Wrestling Promotions(e.g.WWE,TNA ) use storytelling and scripted fights. This pretty much destroyed this otherwise awesome sport.

The original TigerMask retired while he's on top of his game, because he's sick from behind-the-scenes politics. Its only enough to see wrestling now to know how far these "politics" went today.

hows this match's result legit after what happened @2:12?

  • レフリーのミスター高橋のうずくまり方、ほんま白々しい。お前、そんなうずくまるほどの事だったのか。やはり、これも会社ぐるみの演出だったんでしょうな。

  • very very intense

  • FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKES

  • man, hogan was a big cat.

  • what was the crowd chanting at 6:05?

  • 0:58 Look at that fake punch.

Stop asking if this ( or Wrestling as a whole) is real.

  • it isn't always fake you're wrong!

  • Damn so was this a real match or scripted ?? LOL that was so darnn real what happened, the riot, the pissed off fighters, it was real right ????

  • lol@people thinking this is real. If this was real this fight would be over in 10seconds with Inoki being victorious. Puh Leeze no one gets dazed like that in a real fight and walk around like a retard waiting for your next blow to come.

  • are there still ppl arguing that wrestling is real!? i thought everyone wouldve figured it out by now

  • you're a narrowminded prick, predetemined

winners and being fake are two different

    things.

  • i proly know more about the sport than u do retard. yes ppl get hurt. yes most of it is improvised. but they let them do moves on eachother. ive been to amatuer shows where ppl have snapped limbs and had deep cuts. s no YOU are the narrow minded prick

  • no you're the retard alot wrestling is real!

  • Dudes we know Wrestling is Fake, HOW MANY TIMES ARE YALL GONNA SAY IT ,IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, STOP WATCHING,IM TIRED OF HEARING YALL CRYING BOUT IT,THINK ABOUT IT, DO YOU OWN BARBIE DOLLS AND BITCH ABOUT OWNING THEM,DIDNT THINK SO,TV SHOWS ARE SCRIPTED TOO,BUT YOU STILL WATCH THEM, SO STOP TAKING POT SHOTS AT THE GOOD PEOPLE WHO EAT SLEEP AND WATCHED THESE TALENTED INDIVIDUAL PUT THE LIVES ON THE LINE FOR OVER 20 YRS ,JUST TO ENTERTAIN US!

  • Holy crap there almos was a riot there....that was a great emotional match and they really knew how to play the crowd....very well done by the two greatist of their time!

  • I think Hogan LEGITIMATELY dropped Inoki @ 0:11-0:12.

  • bullshit

  • Japanese people are nuts which is awsome

and by the way who THE HELL won?

  • Inoki

  • "if you think otherwise then your a moron. "

Says the guy that doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're."

  • So what was the decision? Double countout or Inoki won on countout?

  • moreover its not even entertaining

  • No what is staged is the UFC, wrestling doesn't claim to be real, its just wrestling. And I bet you think your real smart because you know its "fake", but please join a school and see how "fake" it is.

  • IT ISN'T FAKE!

  • what isn't fake?

  • When UFC fights go to the cards, the judges have it right 95% of the time.

Once in a while, sour grapes like Chuck Liddell cry foul after losing fights (thinking of the Keith Jardine fight there), but in general, they are good.

Michael Bisping-Matt Hamill is the only true BS decision I have seen, crooked limey cockcucker judges.

Other than that controversial fight that the UFC seemed to whitewash relatively well, I cannot think of a decision that was fixed.

How you stage a hook on the button?

  • uh duh, you stand there and take the punch.
