@isurus Okay. At the risk of saying "It's a black thing" it kinda is. Black people in the US jokingly refer to our friends and those for whom we have some respect as my negro or my (n-word). It's not a sign of disrespect. It's my joking about the obvious R&B influences on her music.
@soulsurvivor2001 ...you should clarify and say ...some black people in the U.S. Because there are many black people, like myself, that would never ever call anyone else nor myself the "n-word". It's demeaning and horrible.
Robyn has probably learned and caught that accent from movies and television series... I have that too, and it's way better than learning Swedish school-English (it's with a british accent :S ) haha
