  • I have had the brown sweater in my wool stash before! I guess I have been making woolies for too long when I've owned almost every design/color wool sweater at least once. Merino wool is my favorite to work with though, super soft.

  • Ok, I guess I misunderstood :) Fitteds from blankets would be interesting as well.

  • I love watching your videos! A while back you said you were converting some prefolds to fitteds. Could you do a demo? I am experimenting with a pattern and would like to see what you do.

  • @lilsewbee I don;t think I said I was converting prefolds. Maybe someone else did? I did however say I was converting my receiving blankets to fitteds. But I have seen a video on line converting your prefolds into fitteds. It doesn;t look very hard though.

  • The kind that look like briefs. Thanks

  • @brendansmom03 OK. Sure, I will do one shortly. I will need to go find another wool sweater. I will try to have it up within a week or so.

  • Can you show how to make the wool shorties?

  • @brendansmom03 Wool shorties, like wide legged ones that go to the knee or soakers that look like briefs?

  • I'm in the market for a new sewing machine and am convinced I need a serger. Where did you get yours and would you recommend the one you have?

  • @mrsashleyrenee Yes, I would totally recommend the one I have. It's very easy to thread after you do it a couple times and just works great all together. I believe I paid just a little over $200 for it and I got it on Amazon.

  • @carlynicoleelliotte Great, thank you!

  • @mrsashleyrenee You're welcome. :)

  • Perfect timing - I am working on a pair of longies right now! I will use some of your tips. :)

  • @katulka2 Great! This is the best way to build your wool stash for next to nothing in cost. :) I'd love to see your finished product. :)

  • GREAT idea!!!

  • @alandamandamama Love these. I have so many pairs that I have made for Noah and I think they are super cute on too. :)

  • neat!

  • @ReillyAJ It really is a great cost effective way to use wool and recycle while you are at it.
