I have had the brown sweater in my wool stash before! I guess I have been making woolies for too long when I've owned almost every design/color wool sweater at least once. Merino wool is my favorite to work with though, super soft.
I love watching your videos! A while back you said you were converting some prefolds to fitteds. Could you do a demo? I am experimenting with a pattern and would like to see what you do.
@lilsewbee I don;t think I said I was converting prefolds. Maybe someone else did? I did however say I was converting my receiving blankets to fitteds. But I have seen a video on line converting your prefolds into fitteds. It doesn;t look very hard though.
@mrsashleyrenee Yes, I would totally recommend the one I have. It's very easy to thread after you do it a couple times and just works great all together. I believe I paid just a little over $200 for it and I got it on Amazon.

Ok, I guess I misunderstood :) Fitteds from blankets would be interesting as well.

@brendansmom03 OK. Sure, I will do one shortly. I will need to go find another wool sweater. I will try to have it up within a week or so.

Can you show how to make the wool shorties?

@brendansmom03 Wool shorties, like wide legged ones that go to the knee or soakers that look like briefs?

I'm in the market for a new sewing machine and am convinced I need a serger. Where did you get yours and would you recommend the one you have?

@ReillyAJ It really is a great cost effective way to use wool and recycle while you are at it.
