  • Además de ser una BESTIA en el mejor sentido de la palabra, se nota cómo lo disfruta, y eso es lo que le da alma a la performance :)

  • lol @ bither26. Hilarious.

  • Born to sing this aria ! Great !

  • she's amazing

  • Love, Diana!

  • Beautiful!

  • Wspaniale, piękny głos:))

  • In the final analysis, it is Diane Damrau that offers her great gift freely to her adorning public. What an exceedingly talented artist she is.

  • Wonderful. Just watched Amadeus, for the jillionth time, and turned to this beautiful version.

  • I feel like I've never fully understood what is so great about opera until just now, being confronted with the fact that such sounds can be achieved with such clarity and depth by a person's natural faculties. It's not enough for me to just hear it. Not with the range of bizarre and incredible noises that can be made artificially nowadays, but to actually see a person achieve this and how much of an effort -- because it's a whole-body effort -- is put in to get this sound is just fascinating.

  • @genericbotface This is just goose bumps. It is frightening how good she is. I heard that aria in the opera house and I had a Flow moment. It felt as if Mozart himself was talking to me. When you sing that piece like she does, you realize that you have just done something most people on the planet couldn't do even if they gave it everything they had. That piece is amazing. Mozart was a god among men.

  • WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why is Harry Potter directing?

  • @GrandePuffu omg i literally just said that xD

  • @GrandePuffu We call that conducting =]

  • @Alegoo92 sorry ;)

  • beautiful voice BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

  • She is my favorite Queen! There is a wonder fullness in her voice but she never sacrifices her high notes. Wonderful.

  • your voice is perfect i like it so much!!!

  • She has a perfect voice!

  • I cant believe this beautiful woman played that scary queen of the night in the opera. It's got to be the hairdo she had on.. As perfect as she was, she really looked old, scary and fat in the opera scene.

  • 3:24 " Expecto Patronum ! " o.O

  • woooooow! think i just fell in love with a face in pure harmonie with music, what a voice, i would instantely do anythink i could think of if that voice ordered me to... !!! :D thanks for the upload

  • damn! shes good!

  • just fucking fantastic

  • She is utterly electrifying }}}}}}}}}}

  • I LOVE watching singers record when they don't have to worry about entertaining an audience and they can just do all of the physical stuff that makes them comfortable. And this woman is about as real as it gets. Gah.

  • Bravissima!

  • Great! One feels the need to kiss her just at the end of her performance!

  • love this song it feels so good relaxing

  • Best queen of the night ever

  • she is sooo sexy!

  • TE QUIERO!!!!

  • 1:33, GOLD

  • she's my favorite queen of the night ever. sublime.

  • O_O omg

  • Wunderbar :)))

  • Composer thinks he's Voldemort.

  • @ImFromCanadaa

    Mozart thought he was Voldemort?

  • SHE'S. THE. BEST.

  • sing it from the mountain tops baby!!

  • 'Cause so many of you wanted to know: the first aria is called "D'un insultante orgoglio" and it was written by Salieri.

  • lol the conductor looks like harry potter XD

  • @bither26 Lol so this is what Harry Potter does on his free time xD

  • @RecklessRobert his spells not work on the great DD

  • а что с тональностями?

  • I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who does funny gestures when singing :)

  • Ocio che gli và a fuoco la Fica a questa!

  • levels: Justin Bieber Horrible Terrible Very bad Bad Neutral Not bad Good Very good Incredible Diana Damrau
  • I keep relooping! I can't control myself! Awwww!!!

  • When did Harry Potter trade in his wand for a conductor's baton? DD is awesome as usual...BRAVO!

  • @enriqueali Who said anything about a trade-in? Multiple applications, baby!

  • Wow. What was the name of the aria she performed first in this video?

  • a wonderful woman with such a goddes voice..........what else can you ask to watch and listen to? :-)

  • Maybe the best version I ever heard of this Aria

  • Predivno! Savrsen glas i savrsena kompozicija....

  • If you compare all the singers and unfortunately also the laymen who sing (or try to sing) such arias (especially Queen Of The Night) Diana's one of the greates, I even would say she IS the greatest. She's perfect for the queen and no one fits the role of the Queen Of The Night better than her. She's simply GREAT!

  • impresinante lo mejor q e visto en mi vida y debe ser la mujer mas bonita del mundo y q bueno q lindo impresionante el director jovencito impresionante como dirije

  • @miesermogelvogel hiba a comentar totalmente de acuerdo contigo

    wonderfull voice. my goodness

    thanks for sharing

  • She is beautiful with a beautiful voice, Bravo!

  • que buena intensidad ! diana is big x3

  • Great singing and acting!

  • Hahahahahhaha Harry Potter OMG xDDDD i don't know you're an orchester directior! xD

  • Diana is an amazing singer. That guy does look like Harry Potter though haha

  • Genial, fraternal e humano.

  • Joan Sutherland and Edda Moser is better

  • @Royalorgans No, they are not.

  • @Micidami yes, they are. the books and critics have said so

  • @Royalorgans Books cannot STATE which singers are THE BEST, they may provide us with information about features and how they are ranked. That's difference. Critics, actually, are to share THEIR opinion. They have no universal taste and they are never objective. Anything else?

  • @Micidami why would you say that Diana's voice is supreme. Joan Sutherland has a much bigger voice then Diana and she has more agility. Edda moser has more color to her voice then Diana damrau. Lisiten to how many time and how deep a breath diana takes vs the other singingers. This means that she can hold up as long.

  • she sang the feces out of that aria!!! new fan!!

  • To those asking, Der Hölle Rache starts at 1:39

  • beautiful...

  • @HarrietVane

My point was just to answer to the question "How old is she ?" (asked by carojuly)

  • B A D A S S

  • Beautiful!

  • She's so bad ass!

  • She is born in 1971 : she was 36 when she recorded these arias

  • @TheAlmirena

    And your point is?

  • How old is she? She looks so young

  • @jd7x7jd @jd7x7jd She sings Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen from Mozart's "Die Zauberflöte" (The Magic Flute) Act 2 Scene 3

  • Why is this titled Queen of the Night?

  • @jd7x7jd In opera The Magic Flute this aria is sung by Queen of the Night. It's a role. There is a video here of her singing this in opera: /watch?v=DvuKxL4LOqc

  • @jd7x7jd go to 1:42

  • harry potter let his magic flow trough his wand. the magic he cast is sonorus

  • @okithesniper I find these comparisons so tasteless!! You'll better stay silent if you have nothing to say!

  • @reinadegrillos hehe.. yeah you're right

  • Love her

  • she reminds me slightly of meryl streep...and an AMAZING voice! one gifted woman!!

  • @filmfanatic128 She can act too - check her out in operas. I saw her at the Met last year.

  • Apart from the beautiful voice, she's very attractive especially when she sings.

  • Beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.

  • No wonder why this music sound so magic when Harry Potter is the conductor. :)

  • Wauw!

  • The conductor looks like he's casting an Expelliarmus spell.

  • She was perfect. The mix of Arias was awful.

  • Excelente.

  • What were the names of all the songs she was singing on here? I loved the first one :)

  • 1:33--- what is that pitch a high g?

  • @johndavidryan it's a high F# :)

  • Amazing. she's perfect.

  • I don't know if she is so perfect,'cause i hear that she's not so "softly"like Luciana Serra for example, but she's so clear and brilliant....and i like brillliant singers!!:))

  • german is perfect to express all the anger of the queen of the night italian and frech are too soft languages

  • pure perfection

  • The only unforgivable error on this masterpiece, is the fact that it is written and sung on a rude idiom,. Sincerely, german offends ears and sensibility. it's not a language good for singing, in my opinion.

Much better it would sound if sung in italian or french.

This is its only mistake , what a pity!!

  • @jflaviovidal I don't think so....It's a strong song,so It needs a strong language.According to me It's perfect.

  • @jflaviovidal you are entitled to your opinion, of course, but Mozart wrote for a German text and it works beautifully.

  • ...did anybody else notice, he had one sleeve down and the other up?! ;D

  • ---quebrando taças de vidro e rompendo tímpanos com essa boz-----

    e.e

  • Brilliant Damrau, as always.

  • Harry Potter and his magic wand.....

  • At least he didn't unleash a petronus, and let Diana sing :D

  • @Relsor jajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

  • "Der Hölle Rache kocht in meinem Herzen" from the opera "Die Zauberflote", or "The Magic Flute".

  • Harry Potter

  • wie heisst das erste Lied dass sie singt?

what's the name of the first song she's singed?

  • @MiauWufQuiik Queen of the night.

    from The opera "Die Zauberflote"

  • @notrealyme96 I mean the first Song.

  • @MiauWufQuiik Dun insultante orgoglio, of Salieri's Cublai Gran Khan dei Tartari

  • wie heisst das erste Lied dass sie singt?

what's the name of the first song she's singed?

  • harry potter is an orchestra director? .__.

  • @Argotson i think he is... :) and he's doing a cruciatus curse! LOL

  • @vrljikkerssfesst If it meant i could sing like that I don't think that I would mind the cruciatus curse. haha

  • @johndavidryan LOL....

  • @Argotson what a handsome boy

  • @Argotson No offence but he has most likely higher educated then you, so if I were you I would give the man some respect cause the job of CONDUCTOR is harder then you think. And as you can read in the previous sentence it is Conductor not Orchestra Director. And to answer the question who gets the award for being the biggest fool of the year? Well what a suprise it goes to you, dumbass

  • @sillie3332 jajajajajjajajajajaj dale color xD

  • @Argotson lmao

  • @Argotson ...you mean the conductor?....

  • @Argotson Yup that's our good old harry potter!

  • such a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice :) one of the best's for this role
