  • This is great but at $1800. The price needs to come way down. An electric scooters and mopeds are still more attractive and the learning curve is much lower. Still I would want one if the price is significantly cut.

  • Product Spec Question: (as there are virtually no info from their site) Top Speed? Min "Stabilized" Speed (It can't be 0mph)? Cruising Speed Range? Turning circle? Travel per Charge? Charging Time? Slope Gradient? Product Weight? Terrain Type? (grass & dirt, rain/ wet asphalt)? Choice of colour? Maximum Capacity? Tyre Size? (if ever punctured) Overall Dimension in mm? (so to fit in backpack if not used) Low battery indicator? led or buzzer? Delivery & plug type? (US & UK only?)
  • It seems cool but aren't you afraid of the side effects?? The guy went to his office and turned into a girl like everything was fine!!

  • Guys from Segw.y: stop clicking on "don't like" plz ;-)

  • Is it water resistant?

  • This has got to be FAKE! it's impossible to ride one-wheeler without falling

  • @Sassymui8 - It's real. Seen it on Hak5. It uses a gyro stabilizer but it costs $1800. I can get an electric moped or scooter for half the price.

  • Hmmm, I'm conflicted as well. I'm sure it takes some balance, so that requires core strength. But I live in a city of hills, so I don't know if this would work...going up or down. And I don't know how easy it is to maneuver. All of these guys were coasting along on flat sidewalks with no human traffic. Not necessarily indicative of real life.

  • no helmet? ha! you'll be sorry!

  • Yeah that's cool or I could just you know walk where I am going. Like all vehicles without a proper brake it is only a matter of time till you crash into something or get run over. Just look what happened to the inventor of the segway.

  • Could anyone buy me that thing? And @ChujCiWJedzenie Też jestem z Polski, nie jestem gruby, a gadżet naprawdę ciekawy

  • Looks heavy.

  • МК-Прокат.рф - купить Solowheel в России.

  • I can't decide if this is yet another step towards Americans forgetting how to walk, or if it's actually kinda cool...

  • shut up and take my money!

  • I want one

  • do you know when it will be available in Europe ?

  • how much is it?

  • 0:36 - 1:00

ok. we get it... it's convenient

  • I saw someone in chicago cruising around on one of these! It blew my mind! Where can you ride them/ get them?!!!

  • セグウェイの一輪車版ですか・・・

    一輪車乗れないから無理ww

  • great job, you have now made it so we will almost never have to walk anywhere again!! screw exsersise! lets all be lazy!

what has the world come to...

  • obviously the asian would ride that to work..

  • اللي جاي من مطنش يعطيني لايك

  • FOR AMERICANS SO THEY CAN BE EVEN FATTER!

  • @ChujCiWJedzenie Don't make us go all revolutionary war up on your ass all over again! Hahaha. This wasn't even invented by Americans.

  • @TheLukeSchiltz ooooooohh im so scared. i imagine your fat soldiers driving on solowheels trying to catch me.

  • @TheLukeSchiltz im joking brother, dont take it serious :P

  • Comment removed

  • @ChujCiWJedzenie Dude not all people in america are fat.

  • @GlacialisVentus yeah i know. its only 75% of you

  • @ChujCiWJedzenie asians know the forumula for everything lol and i love it lol

  • @ChujCiWJedzenie I think we're gonna be burnin calories by just standing... now if it had a seat then we might not ever see our waists again...

  • Hello, what is the price of imported solowheel to France?

  • Not Very practical Its called walking its alot faster

  • waiting for faceplant videos

  • one hole on the road and u will hit like a shit xDD

  • man, that's really cool. but isn't it a bit slow and tiring

  • WANT it bad.

  • any insurance compensate if people fall down on the startup?

  • Send us one for testing it in Hungary. :)

  • Solowheel now available to pre order in the UK

  • Cool stuff guys, congrats!

  • @Extremesportok Thank You. We cannot wait until June when it will be available for sale!

  • where can i buy it...i really want to buy it......

  • @WBJL25 send us a message at sales at inventist

  • looks heavy though

  • its like the segway but without the ugly

  • @RaoulnJoy Easier to carry as well. For our most up to date information follow us @inventistinc.

  • hopefully cities around the world dont ban this like they banned Segway!!!

  • @tri400 did they??? in belgium i see these ugly things all over the place

  • Looks really cool, but what about legal status, if you can't use them on public roads there is little point beside the concept value.

  • This is why you're fat.

    This is why you're fat.

    This is why you're fat.

    This is why you're fat.

    You're fat cause you ride,

    I ain't cause I walk!

This is why, this is why, this is why you're fat!

Try riding it after you get too fat to use it because you use it.

  • @NeoAlucardX The Solowheel gives us more time to get in our daily P90X workouts!

  • Just saw this on the Weather Channel how do you pedal it?

  • @DudleyaSetchellii It is powered forward by your body weight. It slows when leaning backwards and speeds up to a maximum 12 MPH when leaning forward.

  • how does it handle inclines and declines?

  • I love these inventions, there's just one thing ... BREAKING ... they'll never do that well, compared to two-wheelers ;)

  • Now available to pre-order in the UK

  • Pah, cheaters. Get a real uni! (very cool tech though)

  • @yomiey Duhh!, you do a Kickflip!

  • fatass niggas can't ride dat lol

  • Love it.

  • what happens if you go over a bump?

  • Damn sell those in the US

  • 운송수단이라기 보다는 놀이기구군요. 한대 갖구 싶네요. ㅋㅋ

  • @moongchi

Get that oriental bullshit off my screen

  • Looks cool! :-) Probably is over-priced, and only supports slim people. :3 hahaha.

  • What's the weight limit on that thing? Does it cater to the 80% of dangerously obese citizens in the US?

  • Interesting, but yet another device to contribute to the appalling physical fitness of society. Notice in the video, the employee rides to work, walks the short distance to their cubicle and sits down in front of a screen. Then grows fatter and lazier....

  • needed a good laugh today, thanks.

  • Where are the faceplant outtakes?

  • @music2012 The three gyro-sensors inside the Solowheel will not allow it to fall forward.

  • In the future, walking and running will be considered obsolete. Thanks solowheel!

  • @Furiouss06 It's purpose is transportation, not exercise.

  • Then go home and walk on a treadmill. God bless modern society,

  • But can I do an ollie and grind a sweet rail? How about a kick flip?

  • "Look guys, I can do a wheelie!"

  • I see many faceplants in the near future !

  • Stupid. Another way to get FAT!

  • (the only thing is - if i ever got enough money to buy one of these, i wouldn't have a place to ride it. you're technically not allowed motorized -stuff- on the sidewalks. and i doubt it's "street legal" ... that was the problem with motorized scooters too...)

  • WANT

  • everyones hands in this look really awkward

  • so all these videos are of downhill decents or right after a downhill decent. how much power does this thing really have?

  • Problem is people will never sacrifice their dignity in the name of transportation. That's the problem with Segways, that's the problem with the smart car, and that's the problem with this thing. This is also the reason why we WALK everywhere instead of running. We look much more graceful walking.

  • This looks really cool! Does it take leg muscles to turn and stuff because I'm guessing if it does it could be a fun exercise. How much does it weigh?

  • I'm getting one for my birthday

  • but i can walk faster than that..??

  • youtube.com/watch?v=qSaGrbnEesg

  • Question: if Solowheel can only handle riders of 250 lbs or less.. How long will it take for riders to increase their weight to 250+ lbs, after they stop walking?? (therefore, making Solowheel useless?)

  • @federicoyu youtube.com/watch?v=qSaGrbnEesg "Wall-e Captain Rising"

  • looks like a lot of fun around a campus.

  • This looks like a face plant and a cracked skull waiting to happen! Gonna be more ironic than the inventor of the segway driving himself off a cliff!

  • They should make the stepping board sturdier so that the wheel can stand on it own when not used.

  • It looks hard to climb onto that wheel...

  • WOW! Just think how much better this will be when someone makes a 2 wheel version!!

  • Just imagine you fall forward fracture your skull on the pavement, then it's good night.

  • about as lame as a peddle less unicycle.

  • hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhaaaaaaaaaaaa haha

  • So much for two feet and a heart beat

  • Let the lawsuits begin!

  • Let the lawsuits begin!

  • is it so noisy that they cut the sound from the video?

  • where the hell do you buy one of these!?!?! searched high and low!!!

    I WANT ONE NOW!

  • Looks like what the character "Thor" rides in the newspaper comic strip "B.C."

  • and how to you start/stop this thing?

  • i wish running was cool and you didn't look weird doing it.

  • Needs more clearance for better turning radius.

  • Remind me why we have legs again?

  • penis

  • @TheHeavenReborn

    Vagina?

  • why why why? its so stupid

  • Important question: where are the brakes?

  • @bardes18 You apply rearward pressure on the foot plates.

  • little and powerful

  • wow

  • It takes 15 minutes to walk to the subway. Let's assume the bus is running late, and no cabs are available. I have to be somewhere. This would serve me well as a quick way to whisk to the subway, then easily carry it, especially in a crowded subway where bikes are annoying. There's no need to lock it up. Cool. I would love to try it.

  • Some comments are so ignorant. Who owns or has tried that which they speak against?

I guess all of you who feel that getting around without walking encourages obesity. So NO ONE in NYC is fat because we walk everywhere, up and down stairs to the subway. Drivers of cars should WALK instead of looking for the perfect parking spot in front of the store. Bikers are all in superior shape even though it's possible to just glide and not break a sweat on a bike, and burn muscle from too much cardio.

  • I'd get one. Looks like a fun ride.

  • не вижу смысла

  • I would like to buy one :)

  • okay another step to fat society

  • very nice, i would add some folding handles though.

  • Szlag by mnie na czymś takim trafił. Szczyt lenistwa i potem Anglicy i Amerykanie to chodzaca reklama fastfooda...

  • In the future, I guess we'll all be fat...

  • @ghune I'm guessing you do not drive a car...

  • @InventistInc

Do you really think this thing is supposed to replace our cars? Do you want to do more than 10 mn on this wheel? I would rather walking than standing on this wheel.

It dosen't mean the concept is useless, but I don't think people are gonna buy something like that.

  • @InventistInc Im guessing you didn't have any logic when you wrote that comment. (People would use this to replace walking all together) They will just use this and cars... woohoo for the near fat future!

  • @OfficialRandomgames It's an alternative.

  • @ghune

It requires SOME muscle to at least stand and turn on the thing :o

  • gustlik2000 ma racje

  • I wonder how much time does it take to get bored of this 1 ...2 days ^_^

  • how lame is that

  • nie na polskie drogi uhauahuahu

  • @krzynowek21 dokładnie ;D prędzej się zabijesz niż ruszysz :D

  • and you are asking why we are so fat ?? hmm let we think

  • wogole jak takie cos wejdzie to kuraw kazdy bedzie grubas jak ten na 0:51, wogole dziwie sie ze to cos uradzilo ta kobiete -.-

  • UNICYCLE FOREVER! :D

  • I'm sure it is uncomfortable as hell. Firstly, you must upkeep balance all the time, stand still and don't even think about scratching nose. Secondly, turning seems to be very difficult and slow, finally - it seems that to turn you must keep a proper stance and that means constant muscle tension which is tiring. On bike you at least sit.

  • bike>this

  • Szkoda słów.

  • potem sie kurwa dziwą se sa jebanymi grubasami

  • dla dziadkow i grubasow.

  • zbliżamy się powoli to utopijnej wizji społeczeństwa ukazanej w "Wall-E"

    "rzuć żucie, jedz picie!"

  • Na polskich chodnikach co chwile by ktoś glebę zaliczał : D

  • made in china ?

  • And for fat people: soloWHALE? xD

  • @satarielful The Solowheel BC can only handle riders of 250 lbs or less. It may be a model in the future... would you like to be added to the waiting list?

  • @InventistInc Yes, I give it to you for Christmas. I have anorexia. Chill out dude.

  • @InventistInc

    BURNED!

  • @InventistInc LOL, win

  • Wymyslajcie sobie Dalej tak Dupy wam beda rosnac jeszcze bardziej

  • @gustlik2000 i agree in 100% ;)

  • a później masażery wyszczuplające

  • I want to see it (a) turn--you know, really maneuver; (b) go uphill; (c) go near people (how well you can control this thing is a pretty important consideration); and (d) stop short without wiping out. And you might as well put on a helmet now--you know you'll need one the first time someone takes a header off this gizmo.

    Other than that, cool idea.

  • Very innovative and clever idea. Love the portability and the price actually doesn't seem that bad for what it does. Segways are way more expensive and aren't nearly as cool.

  • Has many applications for those who have problems walking -- 12 mph is scooting right along. Add a yoke to it and give it more stability. Dislike ignorant people with crass mouth.

  • Can you outrun the cops on this?

  • I'm waiting for the fall compilation.

  • nice gadget... but for the love of god... ride this to work to sit all day, then ride back home to sit all evening in front of tv? it's lame
