on visualboy advance there stood file, click on FILE and the save game on: 1- - -.

and if you want to play again from where you was the previous time click on FILE and then load game, and then you see the time of saving the game, click on it.

.....Go 2 google and Search Shiny gold beta 5 download....download it....Then search fire red rom download....download it.......Search IPS win 2.0 (Or something like that) And download it...Open the IPS win, Look for a little folder thing (its browse) for the 1st one click the browse and find the firered rom, for the 2nd one u do shiny gold beta 5 download thing...Oh and u have 2 download a GBA emulator....(I use VBA -Visual Boy Advanced-) Just search GBA emulator and download it.

There is another way to patch just change the patch name to exactly the ROMS name but leave the .ips on and it should work mine did.

Press shift+f1 to save and then when you close it and replay it click file and load state and click the date which you played it last. Iternal game saves don't work for the most part on roms

Make sure you have save type at 128k. To check, go to Options>Save Type and see if 128k is checked, if not click on 128k. Now restart and it shouldn't say that anymore.
