Oohhh....That's right. This was why the Playstation kicked the Saturn's ass. Very impressive, and I'm glad to see Ridge Racer has aged so gracefully. Pity there was only one racetrack -- RR may have had the killer smooth graphics, but Daytona USA had the deep and compelling gameplay. It was kind of a Daphne & Velma thing.
