After I tried out Grid, I wanted to see how NFS:Carbon looked on my 9800gt. I was surprised at how crappy NSF looked and how terrible the physics were so I tried looking for vids of NSF:Carbon online to compare it to my experience. I guess the game's just as bad looking and unrealistic for everyone else on max settings.

You can play it on those settings becusae of your resoulution 1280x1024, not good. Buy a new monitor with a decent res and then you can test your system.

Hmm Ok, From what i see, a 8600GT would be good, For that system 305watt would be Enough, since the PC is Old. And doesent require much Watt, Tho if you have enough money, Get Dualcore 2.0Ghz Atleast along with 2GiG Ram, For that you would need around 370Watt to run good, *IF you want to OC your 8600GT*

Well They are Same card, same CHip and everything...

The only difference is Clock and Memory speeds of those cards, otherwise they are same.
