The Lengends series was my favorite growing up. That and Star Fox. I always used to call the servebots "LEGO Bots", since at the time, I didn't really pay much attention to the story, and because in my opinion, they look like LEGO Minifigures. XD

The reason they never used the original Tidal Whale stage music was Keiji Inafune decided, since it was originally going to be the last game of the X series until other CAPCOM employees decided against it, that it should be more classic/nostalgic, hence switching it out for a remix of Bubble Crab's level music from X2 at the last minute.

Once MegaManX got to the Playstation1 the music got way more epic but I also loved X8 music when you get to the Sigma stage select once all the robots are defeated damn I miss the 90s great gaming era those years were.

I agree that they should of used the unused theme for Tidal Whale in Mega Man X5. Also, in my opinion, the series should of ended after that.

We could all just pretend that X6, X7, and X8 never happened. Here's hoping that Capcom will retcon all this...

I've never played a game boy MM game, the closest I've come is Special Stage 1 on MM10, which is pretty much the same as the stage shown in #11. The music is also very similar. And Enker's at the end.

The GB Wilys castle was used for special stage 1 in megaman 10 and its the same theme aswell the only difference being Enker is the stage boss.

Yes! Thank you for putting the Wily Castle Level from MM: DWR on there! I played that level SO much when I was a kid. I would finally manage to beat that level, with all the spikes and the boss fights and then go on to the second level, only to get my butt handed to me. But the first level was very playable because of the music.

Maverick Hunter X is a remake of megaman X ( SNES )wich in my opinion is far better than the remake. Megaman X8 is good, but that game included Axel, wich ruined the series ( my opinion ) My favorite megaman X game is a tie between megaman X2 and megaman X3.Wich one between those two you prefer ?

When I was about 7, I had a Game Boy but instead of Mega Man: Dr. Wily's revenge, I got Mega Man 2 (GB). I wish I had Wily's revenge instead because I actually beat MM2 (GB) when I was 7 and I normally sucked at any other games.

I swear, I know its for nostalgia that they remixed Bubble Crab's theme for Tidal Whale, but his original theme really fits the deep sea conflict on the stage. Its wonderful, and it fits the mystery of the stage somehow, what with the sunken ship and all. Truly a misstep from Capcom.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that. There was a lot about X5 that really raised the bar. It was a solid game. Save for the guns and roses references and slight tweaks to the music like shown here. Each X game has their special places, I think.

X5 used alot of stuff from previous Classic and X games. Such as the face boss from X1, Tri Thunder (Same name from X3 but different way of using it. Also used the same way as Rockman 1 Elec Beam.) and Black Devil (Having the same weakness)
