  • Great vid, love the idea of how to set a background. But I got 1 anoying thing. When I set my jPanel to preffered size [400,300], I still get a bigger screen than I actually wanted. Does anybody know how to fix this?

    that work good before I entered the background Pic.

  • @dalviamit19 you need the java media framework JAR plugin to be able to do that stuff.

  • The problem is. i already created all the Frame with free layout. So, when i change to null layout all the components go to the left side of the screen all screw up.

    How can i avoid it?

  • @caverna2000 There's really no way to avoid it, since the components are never really "locked" into position. Its best to start your whole project with null layout if you plan on using a background image in the future.
