  • A very European intepretation of the song, but I like it anyways. Lovely!

  • if there is anyother language i love other than my mother tongue its japanese..

  • Comment removed

  • this is so nice music Peace from Turkey :)

  • I think that all people should be proud of their own country & culture. If you like other countrys music that is good too. That can be your interest, your hobby. I like Japanese music but also other countries music too such as Melanesian music or traditional Vietnamese music. Im Australian & I love my country and others too. It is all there to share. It belongs to all of us.

  • The NoMad'Steps is on utube !! French Folk, for the world ,, HOPE!!!! ( Arroyo, shelter of dawn, crazy Horse and sky is an immense sea from album HOME , thank you verry mutch for the Earth...

  • @TheOfficialSticker You're a self-loathing disgrace of a weaboo.

People like you make me ashamed to admit my interest in Japanese culture. You're pathetic.

  • @TenWhoWereTaken wats a weaboo

  • @TenWhoWereTaken Thank you! I absolutely love Japanese culture, food, music ect. but I'd never throw away my own Irish heritage just because of an interest.

Japan is great, but it has faults just like every other country. Weaboos just make me sick. Personaly I love Japan, China, England, Scotland, Wales, France, Switzerland, Mexico, Canada, Iceland, Nepal, Australia ect

  • @TheOfficialSticker why cant you be happy with who you are now? enjoy your own uniqueness!

  • @elrollo Some of us are not very unique, nor grew up/live in a culture that have any qualities.

  • @chabitz everyone is unique because they are themselves and live each day the way only they choose

  • @Lucarea241

    I agree :D

Took the words right outta my mouth.

  • @TheOfficialSticker Oh...REALLY !?

  • I recognize that style! THAT'S VANILLA MOOD!!

  • @TheOfficialSticker haha weeaboo :P (JK sort of.) will agree that this is pretty though. Especially that yazz flaut.

  • @TheOfficialSticker so you want to live where an earth quake just struck?

  • @TheOfficialSticker don't know that I'd want to be japanese but do admire the old Japan. Simplicity compassion, moderation, and humility. The concept of respect being foremost. Kampai, itadakimas declining and thanks all in one keko desu etc.. Honor and respect to those who have gone before. We had these in the west but lost it. Sadly the westernization of Japan is taking from the old traditions. When you see young disrespecting their elders that would be abnormal in the old ways is now ok.

  • @TheOfficialSticker believe me i understand you,because same here :)

  • @TheOfficialSticker if you were japanese you wouldn't have had this wish so be happy to not to be japanese and have this dream : )

  • I was trained in Japan some years ago..I had a good times when I was there...how I missed to go back and visit my freinds again...how can I forget climbed Mt Fuji...I almost cry when the first time I saw the mountain just infront my eyes.....Fuji san...you re so beutiful......I will come to you once again.....

  • @TheOfficialSticker Silly thing to say no offense. You should be proud of your own culture. You only see the good side of Japanese culture, but they are quite racist to everyone not Japanese, especially Chinese and Koreans. Silly but very true.

  • @Lemoeny so.. chinese are now diffined as a "race" ? :b I thought that was a nationality but that might just be me :b .. Anyways, i do partly agree with you, nothing wrong with adoring a culture and learning from it. But there is a difference between doing that, and then just going into a fantasi world, wishing you "were it"/there, when you have never been there. And one dosnt have to proud of ones own culture, but knowing just abit about it, before one takes up a new one, might be good.

  • me too je je je

  • Yeh that is very true, there is a contract which Japan had to sign, but I really cannot think of the word for it. Well madmotions it has been a cool discussion with you :) Keep on enjoying Japanese music.

    Tresflip.

  • BETTER VERSION PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME PLEASEE

  • My last comment is for Madmotions

  • I have lived in japan for three years and I would not want to be Japanese. The pressure is insane!! Being a gaijin is great, I even truly feel that gaijins are more Japanese then actual Japanese people. The Japanese people are so obsessed with western culture, it's very sad. :(

  • @tresflip Every culture is more interested in another's then they are their own. It's very common. I wouldn't say it's sad though.

  • Have you lived in Japan at all? Do you truly know Japan? Do you understand any of the culture? Being interested in a different culture, but being obsessed with it and sacking off your own culture is a step too far. I live here, I see it everyday. A great Japanese author once said "japan will be fine if it doesn't lose it's spirit" Need I say more?

  • @tresflip Soo....you are also talking to all the "weabou" and culture obessed out there? ;). I realize where you are coming from, but I feel you don't realize there is plenty of it in EVERY country. I'm just saying.

  • @MadMotionsProduction

Yeh, I realize where you are coming from. I guess I'm venting because it's such a beautiful country rich in it's OWN culture and history. It's a shame to see it being slowly but surely forgotten as the younger generation are trying to be so western. Lets take Italy for example, they are stubborn as donkeys when it comes to cooking and their ways. McDonald's closed after a few months! This is great! They do take on other cultures, but they don't let it take over their own.

  • @tresflip I understand. I have researched it's culture for years, and it is very colorful. I think the main difference is that Europeans tend to think of American products as low grade. Another reason is that after WWII we integrated so much of our own culture forcefully it has just kinda stuck.

  • @TheOfficialSticker I don't wish I was japanese, but I think their Island is beautiful, their ancient imperial traditions respectable, and their traditional music is sublime.

  • if this is a traditional japanese song - wich everybody know it is - you speak about folklore - why are there a piano and a violin and other things of the kind?

why do you give us an interpretation and not the real thing?

a copy remains a copy, no matter what! (and this one (although high class) is kinda far from its springs)

so please post an authentic, traditional, "Sakura" song (with folkloric instruments) wich is one of the most beautiful musics on the planet. please do so!

    yoroshiku!

  • @TheOfficialSticker

    .

"I really really really wish I was japanese"

    .

That is a ridiculous & silly statement.

  • @AmericanStory1 agreed Im asian myself, but I dont wish I was japanese I like the food and animation

    but I dont wish I was :/

  • @AmericanStory1 "That is a ridiculous & silly statement."..Do your country has great culture like this????

  • @AmericanStory1 "That is a ridiculous & silly statement."..Does your country has great culture like this????

  • @AmericanStory1 that is a ridiculous comment lol. i mean, i love japanese culture and i want to one day live in japan, but i don't want to BE japanese..

  • @AmericanStory1 i know, it's fine to love another country, but you shouldn't (& can't,lol) cast aside your ancestry, if you did that you wouldn't exist as you,XD. these people don't understand the value of self appreciation.

  • @TheOfficialSticker hahahahahaha

  • @TheOfficialSticker

You're going to get paddled like in that PBF comic strip...

  • @TheOfficialSticker

    Bend over.

  • @WiggaMachiavelli ???????????

  • Nihon de ikkitai!^.^

    sakura ga daisuki desu!

  • @TheOfficialSticker well you're pretty pathetic, is it that hard to be proud of yourself? I've lived in Japan, you know how weird they think people like you are?

  • @Coltsfan tell us more :P

  • @TheOfficialSticker,

Silly idea. Did you learn from history what the japs did to USA, Southeeast Asian countries during WWII? Even nowadays, those bastards who did experiment on chinese people just like the nazi, they said that they were not sorry, and still being treated as a military warrior in Japan. They are in their late 80s...wish they could die sooner. NEVER forget history. So dumb.

  • @pribadi8406 yeah and USA is a holy country?? please dont talk about politics in this beautiful video

  • @TheOfficialSticker why? cuz japanese ppl have superpowers? should be happy with ur own culture. being japanese is far from that idealistic stuff u see from animes and stuff

  • Hey, this was uploaded on the day I made my youtube account!

  • When me and my friend, known here as Littlewadles, grow up, we're going to go to Japan. We have enough Japanese-speaking skills between us that we could tell someone about a cold chibi dragon... of that even makes any sense! Oh yeah, my friend also knows some swears... not that that's helpful!

  • so calming

  • I <3 Japan!!!!! =´)

  • @TheOfficialSticker

    me too :(

hope my I would some day live there :D

  • i found it weired but nice

  • Not so diferent from Brazil. But Brazil is way more tasteless, unless you look for regional folklore.

  • I sing one in my chorus um its Sakura

Cherry blossoms born of spring, everywhere you look around- that one.

  • shanghai will be liberated .....soon

  • While I must respect his sentiments, all I could do when seeing ".......soon" was to LOL

  • I didn't know that Shanghai was enslaved...

  • I am not Chinese, nor Japanese. I am Shanghainese. Shanghai should say no to China, Shanghai does not belong to China. We are strongly desired for the independence of Shanghai.

  • Shame on you.

  • @TheOfficialSticker

Yes, I am. You will proud to be Chinese one day and start thank your parents.

  • japanese .....??

  • I meant you CAN become a Japanese. It is just matter of registration. Backgound...do not worry. Those who became Japanese, regardless where they from, race, and national, are more Japanese than Japanese natives. It is funny that they become more politer than Japanese and know more cultures than us.

  • @TheOfficialSticker

You can always become Japanese. It is just a matter of registration. But being American or Chinese American should not be so bad.

  • I understand you. Very similar nations, but they are too obviously distinct. But what is too bad about China, in comparisson to Japan?

PS: Have you ever been to any Western country?

  • Ei, China is cool too. Almost all of the interesting things in Japan are due to Chinese cultural influence. Japanese traditional music, clothing, writing, language and martial culture were created under Chinese influence.

  • I'm Filipino

    =(

  • You're not alone, I wish the same exact thing too

  • Can some one send this music but in good quality.?

  • Use the software VDownloader and download this video directly from here. It is what I always do. Just choose the exit format to be mp3 and be happy.

  • Who is the artist for this version?
