Wow, I just watched this video and felt myself crying towards the end. The loss of a companion animal leaves a deep wound. It's harder when that companion was taken too soon. I feel your loss as my dog was taken away from me far too soon. I'm looking forward to adopting a few giant dogs from Gentle Giants Rescue in California. Thanks for this video. It reminds us of what's important in life. :)

The thought of loosing her is too much to bear. I would like to get a great dane in the near future and I can only hope they have as great of a bond as your two friends did!

This is such a sweet video, and I'm sorry for your loss. When I was 12 we took in this beautiful stray tortoiseshell cat,we named her Molly. the vets figured she was about 3 year old. She became a much loved family member now 10 years on she has left us. She got ill the beggining of this year, and was on lots of medicine to help her. 7 months on Molly took a turn for the worse, the vet said she had little over a painfull week left, so we said our goodbyes and she was put to sleep. I miss her.
Nice stuff what lovely animals I would love a great Dane but me and my wife both need to work all day and it would be cruel to buy a dog to leave it it's self all day hopefully one day i will be able to get one amazing video really enjoyed your video.

I'm 46 and I lived all my life with dogs. Sebastiao, my Great Dane, will be in my heart for the rest of my life. My Great Dane was my special dog. I miss him very much.

its such a shame about lemon :( its lovely when cats and dogs can play, but its rare a dog or cat will accept a new one :( i had a cat and an alsation, the cat always played with her, but whenn hse dided and we got a new dog, my cat wouldnt try to even go near her, tho the dogs were very alike :(

This is so sweet. I've had pets my whole life, and I also lost a very special kitty in 2009. He was only about 3 1/2 years old. I miss him every day. It's so hard when you lose a special pet, especially when they are still young. It's very nice that you have this video to always remember her by though. RIP Lemon.

Thank you for making such adorable video of clips. Brought tears to my eyes. Happy tears because they had such a wonderful time together. Lemon was truelly one in a million. This video puts the fighting like cats and dogs myth to shame. I always thought that myth was rediculous because I saw it first hand more then once. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hope Honey is doing alright, must've missed Lemon a lot and I know from own experience that dogs used to have a partner have a tough time dealing with it when the partner's gone (in my case was a couple dogs, but still when we had to put the older one to sleep because of a brain tumor, the other one had a very tough month where se even refused to eat...).

Then their friendship built, and in their young years they played a lot. Then as they got older they lay around together, but still had time for that bit of fun like they used to have! What a beautiful tribute to Lemon, I enjoyed your video so much, seeing Honey and Lemon play and be such good friends is so heart warming. The loss is great I know, we lost our beloved Bux (BoerBoel) a year ago in March, it still hurts so deeply.
They are always in our hearts and to have them in our lives is a gift they gave us.

i have a great dane at home, she's now 1 1/2 years old, and she acts like you little puppy did all the time!!! this is one of the sweetest things i have EVER seen, i'm sorry to hear about lemon and hope that honey is doing alright without her :( but this clip makes me smile and laugh just seeing the two of them having so much fun together!! <3<3<3

This is so sweet. I've had pets my whole life, and I also lost a very special kitty in 2009. He was only about 3 1/2 years old. I miss him every day. It's so hard when you lose a special pet, especially when they are still young. It's very nice that you have this video to always remember her by though. RIP Lemon.

Thank you for making such adorable video of clips. Brought tears to my eyes. Happy tears because they had such a wonderful time together. Lemon was truelly one in a million. This video puts the fighting like cats and dogs myth to shame. I always thought that myth was rediculous because I saw it first hand more then once. I'm so sorry for your loss. I too have a tortie, Molly, and absolutely adore her. So does our other cat Dude. She was a rescue kitty. Best wishes to you and your family!

I was genuinely touched by this... It is fantastic to see a guy care so much for his household pets, and treat them as close friends rather than just animals~
It was fantastic to see them growing up together and bonding, and RIP Lemon, you remain in everyones hearts~

Hope Honey is doing alright, must've missed Lemon a lot and I know from own experience that dogs used to have a partner have a tough time dealing with it when the partner's gone (in my case was a couple dogs, but still when we had to put the older one to sleep because of a brain tumor, the other one had a very tough month where se even refused to eat...).
can't say much more. Loved this. One of the best videos I've ever seen.

I was actually in tears throughout this :'( This is beautiful! :) I love how when they were young at first Lemon seemed unsure. Then their friendship built, and in their young years they played a lot. Then as they got older they lay around together, but still had time for that bit of fun like they used to have! So so lovely, thanks for sharing :)
