  • Thanks everyone for those kind comments... doing this first thing in the morning after getting off of a long flight to Denmark had me a bit fired, but the band rocked and I had a blast!

  • Hi Marc, fantastic guitar sound !!! wow!!!

  • hahah its Russel Crowe on bass

  • It is the distartion guy!

  • Marc is great at playing guitar!

  • Marc Sounds great!

Hes a fantastic player, and a great guy!

  • this truly amazing.

  • wow!

  • i have a g system, now i gotta find an amp thats worthy!

  • what did you pay for it? around 1000?

i've got a peavey 6505+ into a marshall 1960 vintage - thinking of getting a g-system for it but its a lot of money

  • whoops, i bought it for 700 (ex demo but TC unbreakable) i actually sold it because you money issues and when i had some more i bought individual stomp boxes but high end such as your TC/Moog/AnalogMan. i would go down that route rather than g system IMO because its so much more customisable but TC pedals are fantastic i would suggest them.

  • yea see im trying to figure out what to do - as it is my peavey / marshall and my guitars are so heavy so for me its either get a voodoo labs switcher and load up a 6U rack with my pedals etc but if i picked up a TC it would be much more compact. only thing is i'd be loosing my fav pedals like my fuzz's, phasers etc - i suppose if im trucking around a stack as it as a 6U rack wont make much more of a difference right? lol

  • nah i mean if you have pedals which you like then its a bit of a toss up, with my g system i had a Moog 12 stage phaser which was my phaser and a BYOC fuzz and those were in the loops and because the other effects are amazing it worked for me, but its all preference. like you said if you've got a full stack a 6 space will be nothing.

  • haha ok stuff the g-system then. could you recommend me a switcher unit then? voodoo labs make them & i think custom electronics make em. what would you recommend for say 8-10 stomp boxes and 2-3 rack units for delay's & IR processing

  • probably the voodoo labs audio switcher/ground control. i mean metallica have the most complex rig i've ever seen and they seen to get it working fine. true bypass loops your sound will be amazing. CAE are pretty cool maybe paired with an RJM RG-16 search them on youtube it has a demo of what it does its a great bit of kit.

  • great stuff - thanks sam - i'll certainly look into the RJM etc - im just sick of gigging and having cables left, right and stage centre because of my rig - its going to be nice to get the lot all packaged up and it will make my life a lot easier during the rig setups - thanks again bro - thumbs up!

  • no worries dude, hope it all goes well!

  • also, TC pedals like the Nova series and the classic stuff are brilliant, if you like the sound of them then go for them. for what they are they are awesome.

  • @exhaustedfiles RJM music RJ 16 if you want a rack, but you'll have to get an external footswitch or the G Lab GSC3 if you want a foot controller where you can set 8 pedals, MIDI I/O for controlling racks and a FS out just like the G system for controlling your amps channels...
