This is great. I prefer multi-race cosplay anyway, because there are so many different body shapes and facial forms with different races, which makes it liable for each character to be cosplayed accurately ^^
Conventions are for fun. Not judging who looks the best. Anyone can cosplay. Anyone who says different is ignorant and probably jealous. So what if not everyone can make or pull off the cosplay? -Most asian have small tiny squinty eye
-Some asian are Fat asses and they are proud of it. SUmo wrestling, fat pikachu, and so on. Most of them are skinny because they eat better diet then overwhelming westerner fat asses.
-Any one can make their photo better by makeup and photoshop.

@Duongdaipham That's the most ignorant comment I've seen among these videos. Asian people use money they recieve from Oversee buyers for things other than college. Not everyone in Asian countries make it to college and it's the same in America. Plus a lot of the time people in america have to make their own costumes because the one online is terrible or not detailed enough. Also we don't hire asian make up artists. We don't need make up artists unless professionally done.

My argument has never been that only asians can cosplay. But that ugly people CANT cosplay, regardless of their race.
Asians just tend to do cosplay better coz the hot asian girls are into it too, its common culture. The hot caucasian girls usually arent into this kind of stuff however.

I find that everyone can cosplay if they just pay attention to the character. There are some characters that are harder for races to pull of just based on structure of face or body. I'm Asian and there are characters I could never pull of just based on the fact that I can't look like them without looking silly. It's all about those little details. :]
I think one of the main reasons why that some asians think that we can't cosplay is that they try to look at the NEGATIVE part of western cosplayers like for an example: A Sasuke that got hit by a bus and got mobbed by the teenage mutant ninja turtles! I mean if you say that to one person to look it up it spreads like a wildfire! Lots of people will look it up ... and just keep looking at the negatives of western cosplay... then again its just one of my theories.

I find that everyone can cosplay if they just pay attention to the character. There are some characters that are harder for races to pull of just based on structure of face or body. I'm Asian and there are characters I could never pull of just based on the fact that I can't look like them without looking silly. It's all about those little details. :]

I think one of the main reasons why that some asians think that we can't cosplay is that they try to look at the NEGATIVE part of western cosplayers like for an example: A Sasuke that got hit by a bus and got mobbed by the teenage mutant ninja turtles! I mean if you say that to one person to look it up it spreads like a wildfire! Lots of people will look it up ... and just keep looking at the negatives of western cosplay... then again its just one of my theories.

i've seen white people and asians cosplay both horribly and really well, so it's more reliant on the individual, though i admit i think asians have an advantage. i guess i'm just kind of tired of seeing those white chis with fat rolling over their stockings/dresses, but of course everyone is free to cosplay whatever. xD anime/manga being asian and all, the characters tend to resemble asians more closely on average. these are all very impressive though. ;o
