My Grandmother lives in Chula Vista about 10 miles south of Downtown and the airport. But I live in the northwest where it's cloudy and rainy; not like sunny San Diego

i currently live in minneapolis where my hub is for sun country airlines but i was born in san diego where i usually fly to. i may get a condo there so i could enjoy both places. btw im a captain for sun country

I have lived in san diego for all my life and also I've travelled to all 5 continents in the past 6 years. SD is one of the most beautiful cities in the United States. There many amazing cities all over the planet such as Nice, Sydney, New York City, Madrid, Buenos Aires and the list goes on! There is NO way you can compare any of these city with each other. Each one is beautiful depending on your translation of beauty. To me, the most beautiful city in the planet is Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

I used to live in So. Cal but now live in the Sacramento Area. San Diego rent is expensive unless you want to live in the Ghetto and yes San Diego has Ghettos. Been there, pretty bad. Living in the Sac suburbs is not bad. I have a nice place in the hills that I can afford. I found a great job within months. The weather is not bad and I'm about one hour from Frisco and the beach. Sac has around 3 million people in the area so there's plenty to do. I wish the best just research then settle.

Landing at Lindbergh field is a little bit like the old Kai Tak airport approach (without the last minute right hand turn)...flying low over and close to nearby buildings.
