Yeah.. but this is a start. And I don't think the festival has figured out how to promote Pop culture yet - (They just listed them as "5 Japanese pop Singers") I'm sure if they listed the names more kids would have been there. Plus they had to get on early so they could prepare for PTRJMS later in the night. But this proves that Pop music" in it's true form" is getting more popular- Hopefully one day America will be open enough to play it on the radio.

Dude, some of those people there were like wtf? Yoffy and Joe were cool, don't get me wrong, but the crowd there didn't really seem to like them, they just stood there. It made everything really awkward.

Yea we were noticing as we were watching that the DC crowd is very boring...I remember when Sister MAYO addressed the audience and was just saying "hi, nice to meet you" (something of the sort) in Japanese and everyone just stood there. I'm sure some people didn't understand what she said but even so, just show some enthusiasm.

i think one of the reasons why their might have been a lack of interest or energy in the crowd was probably due to the fact they were signing what the americans would see as power rnger songs

This is one of the reason why Japanese bands don't come to the States.

Look at Brazil, they show the Bands lot of love, in the States not so much.

I love Psychic Lover, heck I like the whole Project R, I wish they had a concert here but it's unlikely. The only reason they came Was because of Sakura Matsuri in DC.

Psychic Lover, Unicorn Table and Project.R and Shing02 were in DC because of the Akiba Fest Concert that took place that same night. They are the ones who brought them to the Sakura Festival. Even with a dull crowd lets hope they do it again with wo ever they bring next year.

Here, in Brazil, we are more warm... In States are not so much... But, I believe that in States, the people likes them, just don't have so much energy like in Brazil... I bealieve that is just a different way... Brazil AND States likes them!

Yes! The events, here, are crazy!

But the events in Rio de Janeiro are more crazy! The public is very warm! I love the energy of them!

It's strange, because, here, we don't have contact with japanese series, in television(open or cable).

This was incredible!! I got to see Psychic Lover twice in one day!! And they sang Samurai Shinkenger!! Thank you Akiba Fest for bringing them!!!
