It say that Ubisoft developed a patch that is installed when you begin to play it boy you have to be online so that can be fixed, i will try tonight

usually when i race my game crashes, now that i turned off my info board it stopped crashing, i can now save games n stuff, hopefull this works, thanks alot m8

I got the same problem, but some people say you can fix it, by turning off the informationen board, and ever since i did that, there have been no crashes!!!!!!!!!

i have a ps3 and when i play assassins creed it freezes but when i play other games it wont freeze.....i wonder y?

it should prompt you to install it when you start the game (if your connected to the ps network)

@Radcobra101 Get a used one. Got mine for €175 which is about $220. Then again, I live in Europe, so... Either way, if you get a used ps3, make sure you check if you can still access PSN.

this is normal, just download the patch.

and it restarts with me in almost every freeze, i just don't know why, maybe the ps3 has it's own will.

i've always played assassin's creed with the 2.01 version and this happenned to me about once a day, but the last time it happened, my blu-ray drive stopped working. now i can't play any game or dvd.

Ubisoft released a new patch for the game, making it version 1.10. This downloads when you start the game. Its a different patch than the firmware 2.1 patch released by sony.

that's bullshit. everytime i play for ps3 it freezes. it has nothing to do with the ps3 or firmware because i have the latest updates. ubisoft is working on a patch but unfortunately by the time it comes out i will have the game beat.

Haven't had this problem since the 2.01 firmware update, its bad it happened in the first place but at least it was fixed very quickly

Although just to add, Ubisoft have confirmed that they are working on an official patch since some users are still having the problem even with the new firmware update.

...well i have this game for PS3..and i love it... this has never happened tome but what has happened is when the game is loading in that blue area it never returns to the game...and stays loading so i have to restart it...but with the 2.1 firmware this was fixed..:]
