  • @ 8:03 Wait guyss U forgot the camera man... :P

  • Come at me bro.

  • i just found out the worst news another group of tigers who used to live in russia etc called the Caspian tiger are extinct they became so in the 1970s WE HAVE TO STOP THIS HAPPENING AGAIN

  • these Scientists are sent down from Heaven to Protect our endangered Tiger's.

Tigers will always be apart of me.

  • How many tigers lived there in the ole days?

  • @GTXMAN i truly believe More tiger's were living than until Poaching became

a Sport and a Blood thirst for Money. with time these truly remarkable big cats

have become Endangered coz of Human inhabitance. Only now we are Realizing

what these Amazing Tiger's are now truly worth in Cost for Future Generations ;'(

  • @GTXMAN at the beggining they said tiger population used to be in the thousands... i guess if one male needs such a big territory, there cannot be millions of them...

  • Why must they all be marked and tracked? It seems like the people's intentions are good but am I alone in thinking this has the potential to be disastrous? What happens if a poacher hacks their computer? The tigers can survive by themselves, if people wanna help get the word out and come down hard on poachers.

  • "Nobody thinks that animals aren't there to serve them" exacly what do you mean by that? :o, as for hunting , quite regularly i hear shots coming from the forest some way behind my house, now let me explain what i mean , agree the earth can only support a finite number of living creatures. The earth human population is on the rise like a tidal wave , can't argeu with that either , on top of that the western society is using more and more energy per individual.

  • OMG Poor tigress she has cavaties! In her bottom teeth, & that black dot in her canine is just like the one this cheetah had in ""Cheetah Kingdom"" upped by 4srsru . The dentist stuck a tube in it and hella dirt and mud came out. He said she would have needed a root canal soon if he hadnt saved it and she would have been in pain. To bad they dont have several dentist & vets like the couple that worked at AfriCats

  • I wouldn't be allowed to go on missions like this if I had this job. I'd be down there hugging the tiger and shit aha

  • @laoZchin Oh, about ignorance/pointing fingers at other nations: turnabout is fair play. Though I know this comment will be blocked from China, here are some hard facts: the functional extinction of the Amoy tiger (p. tigris amoyensis) began b/c of MAO's insistence on their eradication beginning in the early 50s. Now that China has succeeded in destroying this subspecies, it appears it must squeeze tiger blood from its nearest neighbors. I wonder how that is going to play out in 50 years.

  • @laoZchin Continued

This also fuels a black market for tiger parts throughout Asia, because idiots will pay top dollar for "traditional medicine" that has no measurable scientific value save for a placebo effect-in other words, duckie, the CHINESE look hideously ignorant to the rest of the world because they believe eating a part of an animal gives them the power of the animal-something the West abandoned in the MIDDLE AGES and even AFRICANS no longer believe in.

  • @laoZchin Realment? Realmente? C'est possible?! (Snorting) Hate to break it to you, angel cakes, but tigers are native only to Asia. Currently they are being farmed like pigs in China for their body parts and though there are laws on the books for their protection, the highest bidder (usu. a corrupt CCP official or businessman) and his need to feel manly by eating tiger penis soup wins out.

  • You can't just blame one race or country. It's humanity as a whole who needs to preserve the Tigers environment.

  • Yup blame America .They wear Siberian tiger fur, poach them, make soup out of them and Siberia is full of them damn people.Has to be their fault since China never did anything before them Americans .

    Oh wait....

Well except the fact the Chinese have been eating tigers for 1000 years before America existed, has more money, exploits more,exports/imports more ,has more people to support , uses child labor and sells their kids organs.

  • @laoZchin yes you are right.. and those american stupibitches.. they hunt their own icon animal the cougar.. cougars are endangered cats 2. FUCK AMERICA!

  • @ShqipeMeDyKrena1 Uhh, actually, no. They are not by any stretch of the imagination endangered. Cougars are only eliminated from their range in parts of South America, not North America.

PS-Funny how you like to drag America into this fight, however, America never has been a native land for tigers. And that, dearie, is what this video is about. Bottom line.

    Game. Set. match.

  • @shadowkitty56 its stupid to just drag america into the fight , becouse its the whole western society , and we've killed more then our fair share of species...only difference is non of them whur as cute as tigers , but you make it sound like thse other species don't matter , wich i find....well....unsettling.

  • @sander4211 Hmmm...you say that it is not our place to dictate to others when we ourselves have killed, but consider this: people often do not appreciate what they have until it is gone. Tigers have been an important part of Chinese culture for over five thousand years and the belief in the body parts of the beast giving a person powers probably goes back even farther than that, to animist beliefs. CONT

  • @shadowkitty56 And what do we do? We're killing creatures becouse we want more , not becouse we need more , no becouse we want more.... exacly how is that better?

  • @sander4211 This appears to be more Europe's problem than ours. The moose?-Doing great in the Rockies and its numbers are booming in the Eastern U.S., it has come home at last and every once in a while they have to do a roundup in Boston to point them back to the woods, as obviously downtown is not a suitable place for it to find lunch. Cougars? Doing well all along the West Coast and seem to be retaking the Midwest and parts of the South; they've crossed the Mississippi into Arkansas. CONT

  • @sander4211 Grizzlies?-Have recently made a home out of Washington state, a hundred miles north of Seattle in the mountains. Wolves?-Spreading along the Rockies and there is talk of reintroduction in the East, near Maine.Gators?-Recovered. And black bears are everywhere.

In Europe it's controversial to reintroduce anything bigger than a stuffed animal. And hunting?-Pah. Because all guns are baaadd!! Nobody thinks that animals aren't there to serve them.

  • @shadowkitty56 simple fact of the matter is that we're all guilty of this....

  • @sander4211 Now that same belief (which, like many Chinese medicines, have no scientific basis in fact) is driving them to extinction. There are currently more in captivity than there are in the wild, more in private hands than in all of Asia. If trends continue, an ecosystem loses an umbrella species and a culture loses a symbol (I would remind you that the phrase lion of Judah was once more than just symbolism.) Do we sit back and do nothing or do we stop history repeating?

  • @shadowkitty56 a westerner burns 3 times as much energy then a chinese does , and thats what mainly killing of species , But the fact of the matter is this , the chinese have believed that for centuries , and the tigers are still here. but only recently has become endangered....Connect the dots yourself.

  • @sander4211 Correlation is not causation. It is not air pollution that is causing the demise of the tigers, and if you look at records on that anyway, China actually is the top emitter of fossil fuels. Further, at no time in history other than this did China have a population of a billion people and one third of those now able to afford tiger penis soup. They've already decimated the tiger in China (p. t. amoyensis) and are trying to reassert an old role (CONT)

  • @sander4211 regional power. In the old days, China would give a gift to a population, say, like Vietnam's but expect a much bigger one in return. It isn't too far a stretch to look the other way when poachers in the Mekong Delta go after tigers....or African ones go after elephant tusks for their ivory...or when Chinese poachers are caught in Washington State poaching geoduck clams (all of the above have happened.) Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

  • Willing to save tigers? savetigerz.webs.com

  • i want to be a tiger researcher now

  • I can't respond on my iPod but dude you're so wrong they're are mountain lions in California and Utah.

  • @laoZchin Are there any wild Cats in America??

  • @Moebab there's mountain lion, bob cat and scarce individuals of linx and jaguar are more settled in south america theres no tiger though jaguar is the only big cat in the ammericas

  • @ graguyvatural I think its pronounced Larisa. I have never heard Larisha as a Russian name before. Perhaps the translation is muddled by the American scientists.. Oh well, cool vid. Tigers are now once again my favorite animal!!!

  • @laoZchin Yes, there you go, blame the Americans for this. Your so smart.

  • @WarBob56565 He's right. America is exploiting half of the world with its capitalism standards (no moral standard at all) and unfortunately China is its successor. Exploitation of the world including its nature is causing all these troubles.

  • I loved how Natasha climbed up a tree to challenge the helicopter! Must love tiger!

  • seriously just make a giant wall

  • larisha sounds like a ghetto black girl's name

  • i hate the fact that they have to shoot them

  • They need to come up with some smaller radio collars. That could impede their ability to hunt.

  • @laoZchin That sort of hypocrisy exists in every country, every society.

  • @tintin8ify

I love Siberian Tigers, but it doesn't mean that I do not want to safe other animals who are in stage of distinguish

  • @wg390 oh and fail safe - save and distinguish also doesn't fit into the sentance

  • @laoZchin as a american i will tell you that is true. i guess we just dont want them to make the same mistakes we made. it is all about greed and the dollar bills and that sucks.

  • @laoZchin They are also among the ones most interested in saving nature and they spend more than anyone else to do it. So give them credit where its due ! And when it comes to destroying nature, all of us are guilty !

  • most beutiful animal in the world of course its worth saving but ignorant people like the ones that say i want one as a pet thats whats wrong with humans ignorance that the reason they becoming extinct its buety is it curse!

  • it's so sad that the people trying to save them barely see them, yet poachers see them enough to kill and nearly extinct them....

  • God save the tigers.

  • Why Da Tigers got Ghetto ass names ?

  • @SuperWildsnorlax They're Russian names because the Siberian tigers are in Siberia which is like - a part of Russia. Being Russia, they're named by Russians hence the Russian names.

  • Man i want an tiger for pet

  • @aznpride0 same here

  • why we human have to be such a cancer for the world ?

adam shouldn't. never left god's guidance.

worse of all is that we still refusing to get back whit him knowing that he's the only hope we have for not to end poaching ourselves

wake up people we are going no where!

  • wonder if ufos do this on us?

  • At 9:29, pause and you'll see that the license plate on the motorcycle says 666.

  • Larisha... :'(

  • Why isn't there a safari/tourism element involved? That might be an easy way to get locals' support for the conservation of this animal, I'd think, too. Also, why not a North American partnership that would allow Siberian tigers a safe haven in North America - in certain areas - like a wildlife refuge? Then once the poaching has been strangulated to near zero and the safari/tourism infrastructure has been set up the North American stewards of the Siberian tigers will send the Amba back home! (:

  • @misterginsberg most predators are not that adaptive except maybe leopards.Their prey are different even if the climate is sort of same and they will have other predators like the grizzly which biologists are not sure how they will react with one another. Also siberian tigers are known to decrease the population of wolves in the area more than 90% so in areas like yellowstone it wont be good for the Wolf Reintroduction program because the tigers will drive away /kill/make them starve.

  • @misterginsberg

There is safari in China. Sanctuary for Siberian tigers. They don't mention it in this documentary to make it more dramatic.

    to answer your question:

The americans slaughtered their lions to extinction first of all. 2nd they need their native snowy habitat(24 hours) in northern China/Russia. Europeans also butchered their lions to extinction. No one can be more trusted than the Russians or Chinese to do the saving.

  • fuck poachers

  • i just hope we all humans kill each others with atomic and nuclear bombs ...so animals can live free again

  • @usernamesrx asshole...no specie kills itself to extinct in order for the other to flourish

  • well said, put it back the way it oughta be

  • @usernamesrx you go first

  • damm those poachers us :) how about if we 'll hunt their ass down ? kill those cock suckers poachers :)))) lol burn them to hell:) they don't have the ryt to kill these magnificent romantic creatures:) man did u know if a male or female tiger is in the verge of dying the partner tiger will drag and carry it to a elusive burial place and morn there for 3 straight days ?8s so interesting

  • goOd Luck tO saVe tIgers iN the WiLd"........

  • Why can't the researcher just observe the tigers from above? Do they have to use tranquilizer shot?

  • If they did't use the tranquilizers to subdue the tigers they would never get the radio collars on them therfore it would be nearly impossible to find the same tiger or any tiger for that matter.

  • Keep in mind this tiger has surley had more hardships than getting hit by some tranquilizers. These people seem genuine, so I don't see the problem. Humans are part of this planet to like it or not.

  • spot on

  • Actually, the world's first national park was established in the United States and it has the most detailed and diverse system of protected natural spaces in the world. The US is even trying to right past wrongs by re-introducing wolves into their former range.

Russia is gigantic. It's disgusting that they can't protect enough land for just a few hundred tigers!

  • Amazing how in all the vastness of Russian (and with only half the population of the United States), the Russians still can't find a way to set aside large enough tracts of land, and they need Western scientists to come into Russia to study what should be their own national treasure.

  • yes , without americans we would never know anything about tigers LOL.your problem is , that you are not able to watch those wonderful russian videos and films about tigers based on the research we are doing in russia . the fact is that this film was made by americans , and its in english , thats why you are watching it . dont make it fool you into believing russians are fools with no knowledge of their animals and no research of their own. and there ARE huge parts of land where no humans live.

  • There's such a thing as interpreters, you know. If there had been knowledgeable Russian researchers, I'm sure the producers of this documentary would have interviewed them.

It doesn't matter if there are areas in Russia where humans don't live. As long as those areas are PROTECTED, the tiger is doomed.

Why, in a huge country like Russia, can they not set aside some land in the far-east corner of the country for the Siberian tiger and its prey?? It's a disgrace!

  • dont talking shit !we doest have lost interest to animals

  • @1980NewWave You sound like a complete fag...and an idiot all rolled up into one.

  • @onmynyshit - those are big words coming from a moron who puts up a picture of a little kid in his profile. Are you a pedophile?
