  • Man, that guitar solo!

  • Lindsey Buckingham was the best, and Stevie was nothing without him. OK, she was still good, but he was better!

  • Wont you lay me down in the tall grass and let me do me stuff??? ;-P

  • @eadaAriel Do you know the backstory of this group? There were two divorces in the making when they were recording their best works, FLEETWOOD MAC and RUMOURS. When they are asked about how they came to make their breakthrough hits, the breakups they were going through are always emphasized. In the same way, many people had trouble relating or marrying in those days, in part because they discovered that there are not always easy answers and you can't live on acid forever.

  • Lay me down in the tall grass and let me do my stuff,,,,LOL,,, back in the days....

  • hi snarph2012 , stevie nicks was the looker in the band , fleetwood mac

  • I've often wondered... Is Stevie Nicks's broom standard or automatic...?

  • @jannyrcobs Automatic. LOL

  • @jannyrcobs it's a STICK silly :>))

  • @jannyrcobs cocaine is a hell of a drug

  • @ThrashIsBack123 But can it fuel a witch's broom in these environmentally conscious days?

  • @jannyrcobs hahahaha! killin me man!

  • In an article in Newsweek a few years ago was a short biography of ABBA. One passage read "their love lives pulled a 'Fleetwood Mac'" and I laughed my butt off. To imagine that everyone in western society knew exaclty what it meant to "pull a fleetwood mac" was too much. To go down in Rock history as the group to forever represent a full blown s3xual meltdown. I laugh as I type this posting!

Btw, thanks for the great cut from an album that defined the '70s.

  • @Clairexxoo im 15 as well and i complely agree with both u guys. i wish our generation made more of this music as opposed to the BS we have to listen to on the radio these days.

  • You've got the right sow by the ear on that one! The music today lacks the intensity and punch it had in the '70s. The problem isn't so much the artists, although they too are a victim of this pathetic environment they've had to grow up in. It's that it's all about the "bottom-line", and commercialism has run a muck in the music industry, like everywhere else. It's all about CONTROL, and that sucks. I thank God I grew up in the early '70s, but enjoy your youth, while you've still got it.

  • I'm 22 and I grew up listening to Fleetwood Mac. I now have a 2 year old son and ALL we listen to is Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Cyndi Lauper and other Alternative Rock bands and artists. I'll never forget these lyrics and I love how happy my son is jumping around and dancing to "Go Your Own Way" and "Bennie and the Jets"

I love my Mom for this. <3

btw, My parents are Ethiopian/Native America/White and African American/Native American.

  • i knooooowww youre hoping to find, someone whos gonna give you piece of mind

  • I searched for this today 'cause I feel quite "second hand new", you know...

  • Stevie Nicks, I love you! O won't you be my cougar?!?!

  • Gotta love the tall grass:)

  • one of my favorite songs , LOVE IT.....let me do my stufffffff..lol

  • what i would have given to live in this time period...

  • @eadaAriel Everybody has their day in the sun. The 70's had their ups and downs. It's not the year of your youth but rather what you do with it. Things today are different and times are hard, but things then were tough too. Don't stress out on things beyond your control. Enjoy the music and be a kid. This is an exciting time to be young. :o )

  • @Thadesgal There isn't a video on youtube which wouldn't benefit from having this comment posted on it, truly good work.

  • @Thadesgal WOW! Deserves a combo thumbs up. I think the same thing about this people who says "I love 70's, 80's" for everything, while listening old music in a super old Ipod.

  • @Thadesgal I think people miss the caliber of songwriting from the '70s -- Carole King, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac -- people are starving for non-formulaic, heartfelt, real storytelling. And the warmth of a vinyl record...

  • @sbranco12 There are artists today who are just as good as the artists from the 70s. You just need to take the time out to find them.

  • @brinpol That's the problem. Lovely that the Web has allowed us to search for talents who are relatively obscure, but the culture is dominated by flaky, non-substantive pop stars who have to whore out products to build their 'brands'. True SONGWRITING talent is rarely celebrated widely these days. You just need to take the time out to observe the media, brinpol.

  • @sbranco12 Um, no. I know it's easier to bitch and whine on Youtube, but if people spent less time complaining, they would find a ton of great stuff out there. Start with Adele, as one example. You just need to take the time to stop complaining and be proactive.

  • @Thadesgal:: Words of wisdom. Stay true, kids.

  • @Thadesgal Great post!!! And thanx for the tunes too.

  • @eadaAriel How utterly screwed we are to grow up in the time of justin bieber and eminem...

  • @adamfly1 why do people complain about today's music, you aren't forced to listen to it! there were bands in the 70's that people didn't like, they didn't complain like little bitches.

  • @GlenMccafferty One more crack like that and I'll block ya.

  • @Thadesgal Block em... lol

  • @adamfly1 I did... :o )

  • @GlenMccafferty Oh sorry to strike your little nerve. Go back to listening to your justin bieber cause you made it clear you like him more than fleetwood mac...

  • @eadaAriel
