  • Good but why to downgrade your desktop experience like this?

  • @MariousAlex It's useful for Windows users who want a familiar interface.

  • not a bad video, just please turn the music down. You sound like there's someone in your house that says you shouldn't have lunix...

    For the programs, I'll use google. Shame some people didn't think of that rather than moaning and complaining. When I find the links, I'll PM them to you so you can copy and paste into the video description.

  • @gerbilplay4 Lunix? Linux!

  • Windows is Windows... And Linux is Linux...

    Why not leave them where they are?

  • trun the music down

  • can you turn off the fucking irritating dumbass music

  • amazing amazing bravoooooooa

    5 star

    thanx alot

  • damn, i was gonna post a video response, but i got the wrong video!

  • Yo sm... In the video you said you were gonna post the links of where to get the different files you mentioned, but you didn't put it anywhere on the vid (nor in the video's description)... Can you write here (or message me back) where you got the different files (like, the linsta3 theme thing, etc)? Thanks in advanced!

  • nice tutorial. have you tried camstudio in Vista? it's free, and i don't have any issues with it (xp...)

  • how do u get to the emerald theme manager?

  • i'm betting you download it.

  • it should be in your program menu

  • This is like smearing a gold bar with a dog turd.

  • also camstudio is a good screen capture for windows

  • that was awesome, thanks!

    i was really stuck on the flip3d until i watched this

  • 'NiGhTmArE99221' youve obviously never used linux before..

  • 'NiGhTmArE99221' youve obviously never used linux before..

  • yep i use windows XP and made that look like vista then i got the newest version of linux openSUSE (11.0) and its realy fun but where do u got to the page where it showes the keyboard shortcuts

  • are you stupid? do you like viruses and blue screens?

    Long live linux!

  • @hugotrucker you know I can't stay away from this stuff (linux) .. I'm like flies by a piece of crap..

  • yes, he seems to be

  • Windows XP for the gaming!

    Linux is great all-around!

    Mac is only to be hacked and given away in hacking contests!

  • lol i triple boot. Xp pro, Mac Osx86, and Ubuntu 8.04. Doesn't run any slower than the day i built the rig.

    So i like all the os's. ubuntu is just more free and fun. unless you just use bittorrent for evrything. =P

  • yea i only got openSUSE 11.0 and XP pro

    its fun i tuned up XP to look exactly like vista

  • muy bueno

  • Will this also make Linux like Vista and take twenty minutes to boot up and make me scream and tear my hair out? I can't think why anyone would want to utilize a fantastic tool like Compiz Fusion to make Linux look like a lame dog.

    Flip 3d = $Loads

    Compiz Fusion = $0-00

  • cool video, iam on vista now but got sabayon recently. how do you get those packages of vista themes. also do you know how to install kiba-dock

  • Look like Windowz :(

  • stick a pole up your ass

  • Hi, two things.

    1. Why would I want to make anything look like Vista?

    2. Chill on the music.

  • 1. Actually this is really handy if you want to migrate your home PC without upsetting the family. They see a familiar desktop and they don't feel so intimidated. After they are more comfortable you can show them how to change the theme - they'll love it.

    2. Agreed, you can barely here him.

  • Simplemente notable :D

    Saludos =)

  • On xpsp2 I have program files\windows media components\encoder\wmenc.exe, its a pain to set up without it whining about something, and there are two broad options: encode now with bad quality or save as uncompressed, but that option burns through disk space. (1Gb/minute)

    custom session,sources->video->screen capture,

    output->archive/encode to file (only),

    compression->edit->video:CBR, full frames(uncompressed), other tab->video size->same as input

  • so eh i found a reflection_default.png in one of the beryl packages.. looks similar but i dont know for sure if it is... bayimg . com / JAFmmaABA

  • could you post the image somewhere?

  • yea its up there ... i cant post url's here .. see the bayimg thing here.. just copy and paste it and make sure there are no spaces in between

  • yeh, that image hosting site is a bit pants - only lets you download as jpeg, and the image looks really dodgy.

    To find the original image, go to bugs(dot)beryl-project(dot)org, click on 'Browse Source', then navigate through 'trunk', 'beryl-plugins' and 'images' and you should see a link to the image there.

  • oopsy yea my bad.. jus couldnt think of anything else at the time^^

  • Shut up coldplay! I can't hear this guy speak.

  • yeah where can we get it :P

  • Where can I get the reflexion_default.png image?
