@shamanofsexy90 Main reason players stopped holding the extra ball was the huge popularity of the 2 handed backhand when Evert & Borg came along.

@Folkstone57 The two-handed backhand sucks. Don't emasculate yourself by only holding one ball. Be a proper man and hold both your balls in your hand while serving.
