The harmonies were always pretty interesting on PF recordings. And they used the 'Wrecking Crew' much of the time- musicians who were always friends with Brian Wilson- who was often approached by musicians in the 70's (Linda Ronstadt et al) to 'sweeten' their recordings. I often wonder if there ever was a BW/PF alliance at any time....

I remember it being 1978. I was 4 years old. PARTRIDGE FAMILY was on in syndication on UHF & mom had a copy of "Sound Magazine" on record. I got it , played it, destroyed it, found another copy (copies) many years later. I apprecieate it more now then I did then. AWESOME STUFF!!!

I was so in Love with David, I used to kiss his picture every night, I think I was 8. I never realised how beautiful Susan was, wow she was really beautiful!! She came to Maine I think maybe 10yrs ago, she came to a small cafe called Kristina's. I just looked at her and I knew it was her. She has the most amazingly haunting eyes I have ever seen. And when she signed the ccslip. She signed it Susan Dey. I almost fell. I didnt want to invade her space so I didnt say anything to her. Susan Pretty!

In the opening notes of music in this video, it shows Jeremy Gelwaks, the ORIGINAL "Chris Partridge" of the cast. It should be known that he was such a realistic actor that he was excused from the original cast of this show because backstage he did an impression of a rabid dog, realistically biting David Cassidy's leg to the point of bleeding. He was immediately replaced by Brian Forster. Both are talented and revered by fans everywhere. I thank you for including pics of everyone!

If you're old enough, about the 8th still in of David Cassidy alone, it's absolutely incredible how much he looks like his father, Jack Cassidy-- those cheeks! I liken it to George and Dhani Harrison and John and Julian Lennon. It's uncanny. This is a great song. David brought a lot of joy and a lot of hard work to satisfy his fans and didn't get much in return.
