the presets themselves have said there's nothing particularly gay about this song - they thought the guys fighting in milk somehow gave off a classical-type feel (art-wise, not musically).

but where does it say this is a song about suicide? as far as I can tell, it's about growing out of a small town and wanting to see the world (and never coming back). plus, there's the line 'you'll think about it now and then,' which is future tense. how could you do anything 'now and then' if you're dead…?
