why you u buy this heli for $145 you can buy trex 450 kit with no eletronics for 200 bucks and if im not mistaking it was the t rex 450 pro fbl for that price dude i just found a t rex 500 pro fbl that sold for 245 on ebay no eletronics brand new unopened kids save ur money do not buy clones

Hey Will, thanks so much for this series. I just recently built my own EXI 450! One question for you, my swash plate seems level, but when I fly around and decrease throttle my heli pitches backwards, thereby requiring me to push forwards to counter it... any idea on how to fix this?

Hey Mikey, how do you switch from rate mode to head hold mode? I have a 6ch hobbyking transmitter like the one you have. how do you switch between the two?

@RICHYZEE1 Do you mean the transmitter in the first 30 seconds of the video or later on after Mikey dissapears? The first transmitter you switch by rotating the VRB knob. The second one, If I remember correctly there is a switch you flip.

@MikeysRC the one in the first 30 seconds of the video, the transmitter you got at hobbyking. so the VRB knob controls the head hold or rate mode. how do you switch between the two with the knob?

@RICHYZEE1 You just rotate the knob. There is some point in the middle of the knob travel where it will switch. THe knob switched and also adjusts the gain at the sam time.

@MikeysRC ok, now in your video where you talk about the settings on the transmitter, where you say use switch a for throttle cut and so on. i see in the dialog box on the screen there are 2 switches and 2 knob adjustments. how did you set up your HH and Rate mode for your gyro on there. im talking about the transmitter in the first 30 seconds on the video. is there a certain degree the knob has to be turn for the HH mode to work? any help on how to set that up?

Hello! Great vids as ALWAYS! Ive been wanting to upgrade my gyro to a head holding gyro and I have a EK2-0406G radio. Im just not sure how to tell if a gyro will work or not with my radio because I did buy a head holding gyro awhile back(EK2-0704B) and it did NOT work with my radio.

If there is anything you can do to help I would be greatly appreciated!

while hovering my heli stays nice and stable but the punch is terrible. when i punch it almost does a 180. how can i fix this problem. more gain?

See if your transmitter has "revo mixing".

Try the delay screw on your gyro then.  Gain is not the right adjustment.

hey mikey/will what do you think about an exede rc radio reciever packege as aposed to a specrum radio reciever package other than price

Definitely go with the SPEKTRUM if you can afford it. The Exede radio can only store 1 model in it's memory and you have to hook it up to your PC to program it. Kinda a pain.

Nice gyro info. Except I never use throttle hold but rather disconnect my motor from the ESC, especially when my face is that close! All it takes is one mechanical glitch, or a nosy little brother and that thing will be doing the funky chicken in no time! Cool videos. I like the "human" aspect of the last two!
