First time I beat the Shake King, I felt REALLY sorry for Wario in the end. All that hard work, and then the bottomless bag of coins is just taken from him... Well, at least he gets to keep everything he found in the rest of the game (and keep going back for more).

Well, perhaps. I suppose it depends on how widespread the currency is in Wario's home country (Warioland?) and how well the Warioland treasury monitors the rate of inflation. If he goes undetected, he'll profit while others suffer. If they find out about it in time, then the police can try to stop him from destroying their economy. Sadly, Wario is pretty much invincible as the Game Boy games show, and they would have to find some other way of bringing him to justice. It's a sad scene all around.
