If one decides to brand a horse, it is best to stand beside the horse, as the horse, placed where it was, could not kick him. Sadly, the man made a very big mistake, although I am not a big personal fan of branding horses.
He should have moved faster, instead of doing it all slow like. All he did was scare the horse, and got a kick out of it at the same time. He should have used the cold kind too, as I understand it would be less painful.
