  • haha cute ferrets mate oh and nice g shock watch :) lol

  • Maybe this video can convince my mum to let me get some. This is the cutest ive seen them .

  • AWWW =))) those little adotrible devils =))))

  • either you got tiny hands or there massive for 6 weeks and 2 days

  • @MrKeg1234 Alright, they were no bigger than other litters I've bred that all made nice sized adults, perhaos it was the angle of the camera of something, There's a vid of them on here a week younger as well.

  • @MrKeg1234

    thats wot i thought

  • What type of Ferret are they? Sorry I have a habit of typing wierd things ;D

  • @Bluegecko15 The ones with the masks are called polecat (or poley), if they're light brown they're called sandy polecats, the ones that are grey all over I suspect are going to be silver, although I can't really tell...

This might be incorrect if youa re in the states, these are English terms

  • what kind r they

  • @Bluegecko15 Sorry I don't understand your question. What do you mean by "what Kind" are they ?

  • Hi there, I'm asking as someone who is outside of what you guys do. I've wanted a ferret as a pet for a long time and I know that they can be used in a few work situations.

May I ask what "work," you speak of in this case? I'm fascinated!

  • @arachnophilegrrl Hi, the work we use them for is Pest control, they are used to place into rabbit warrens and drive the rabbits out into specially designed nets.

  • they are already starting to bite you.. :O

  • @chabal1234 it's normal, you know. they want to get to know him and play with him. also might think that he's got food.

  • £1 - £28 is the most ive payed then of course theres the babys ive bred any others given to me aswell

  • 30 Euro!!

  • really god? Im getting my little one for £10.00

  • both my ferrets cost me almost $300 in canada

  • holy shit :O i saw them at petco in the US for like just $100 and im sure a breeder would sell them cheaper, (i know that things are usually more expensive in Canada but i think the just rip you off)

  • your ferrets probaly don't have their scent glads usually they cost more when they remove them if there not they will spray and the odor is horrible and when they don't de scent them they cost cheaper

  • Pfft, you are mistaken. Ferrets can not 'spray'- however they can release a musk when really angry or frightened. It dissipates quickly and doesn't linger on anything, as skunk spray does.

Ferrets in the USA and Canada cost a lot because the ferret mills monopolise the market. They can set whatever prices they like. In Australia and the UK, however, most ferrets are privately bred and it is up to the individual to set the price.

None of my ferrets are descented and they are lovely.

  • lol 1:03 It's like "Oooh nice watch! Can I bite it? Whoops too late!"

  • gorgeous, i have two new kits, going to be excellent workers, three months oldish, eating meat, rabbit and calf, whatever's going, they don't really nip much, the occasional play bite but that's it.

willl these be workers? or are they just for pets?

  • Hi, this video was taken a year ago, but Yes all the kits are been worked and are doing really well.

  • excellent news, mine are too young for work and not quite half grown yet, so it will be a while, but maybe towards the back end of this season they might see a little bit

my stock has recently almost all died (cancer old age) hopefully the new blood will stand up in comparison to the old.

  • I'll keep my fingers crossed for you then.

  • cheers good luck for the coming season.

  • I want One Anyone Know When The Breeding Season Is In Perth Australia

  • Ferrets are photoperiodic which means they'll come into season as soon as the daylight hours start to increase significantly, here in the UK that's from March to April but I'm not sure when that would be in Austrailia

  • mine gave birth 2 days ago, after a head count we have ended up with 4

  • Good luck with them, I hope they all grow up strong and healthy.

  • thats a good idea mine attacks me ....in a friendly way though

  • My silver jill had kits with a albino hob i expected dark silvers and albinos she had 11 not 1 had red eyes eigher blackeyed whites sandys light silvers and 4 polecats?handeled since birth 5wks old gettin nasty.

  • How come they didnt nip u at all?

  • Because I handle them daily from abotu a week old and let them eat and drink out of my hand. That way everytime they see a human they know it's either feeding time or play time and get excited to see you...just as in the video

  • those are the colours i want!

  • I hope you get your wishes one day then mate

  • there so cute=)

  • can i have one haha

  • I want one soo much

  • I visited the friend of mine who owns the polecat coloured one in the litter and she's turned into a really friendly, playful ferret. It was good to be able to see how they've grown up.

  • yea i can remember mine at 5 weeks xD she is 6 months tomorrow! shes georgeous and already spayed :) shes only wrecked my bedroom & living room carpet aswell as the under part f one of my setee's xD nothing much :) she liked biting feet .. grr that hurt like hell!

  • Yeah, they can really bite

I took a bite to the neck at a petstore once. It didnt hurt to bad, it just startled me

  • So cute, they seem to like biting everything! Mine was like that when he was young. He liked biting my nose.

  • omg squeee! soooooooo cute! i used to have a ferret named danielle, i lost her to our apartment fire last march. i miss her so much.

  • That must hae been terrible for you, haven't you ever thought about getting another one ?

    Cheers

    OBE

  • yeah, alot. i only had her for 5 months. she was just 6 months. we had 7 great years ahead of us, i just can't afford another. i'm only 16 this nov. and she was my b-day AND X-mas present for last year. not only was she an emotional investment but she cost my mom and soon-to-be step dad around $380. at least. she looked like the 1st ferret to the far left. i miss her so very, very much and wish i could get a pair to HELP fill the void.nothing will comepletely fill the void, but it would help.

  • $380, oh myu god !!! I gave mine away to friends.

    Cheers

    OBE

  • really 380$? at my pet store i can get them for 249.99 CD good luck on finding another ferret :)

  • $250 CD in canada holy shit. In the states they cost about $130 USD

  • 190$ now :P

  • i can get one at pet supplies plus for 140

  • where is that? here (UK) they go for either free to a good home or 5-10 pounds a hob and 10-20 for a jill. any more than that is daylight robbery.

  • Say that again last week i got 2 hob kits 1 for £2 the other £3 and a small adult jill for £5!

  • my ferret cost me $130 in the USA xD

  • omg, im gettin 2 ferrets, cant wait, they soo cuteeeee

  • I'm sure you'll really enjoy keeping ferrets, they are brilliant little characters.

    Cheers

    Oldblueeye

  • I luv them! Cutest little ferrets ever!

I usally don't like animals that are pre white albino because nearly all rodents have red eyes. Ferrets are special and I like the white ones but my favourites are sable markings.

    I LUV THEM!

  • so cute!

  • you keep them in that small box? that is too small for a ferret!

  • That is just their sleeping area if you look at the top right of the picture at the start of the video, you'll see one come in from the main play area. Ihave the upmost respect for my animals and gave them the best care possible.

  • ohhhhh still, they are so cute

  • they are so cute!!!!! are they all your's?

  • I bred and reared them untill they were old enough to leave the mother, then they were given away to friends. I originally wanted to keep a female for myself but there was only one in the litter and i'd previously promised one to a friend !!

  • Those ferrets are gangsta! Especially the one that's fighting you at 00:57 xD!

  • OH GAWD THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL

  • Wow, they grew a lot in a week.

  • Nice little Kits you have there, they look really well!!
