wow didnt even realize how many people video tape there back yard sessions. my buddies and i use to do that about 6 years ago back in washington state. your video is the best i have seen so far but pales in comparison to what we use to build. i welded and one of my friends had tractor he could use. we lived in the mountains. made some crazy stuff back in the day. cool video brought back some good memories. enjoy it while it last's.

@tymorse22 as i get older the more i wished i grew up in the mountains, we do what we do because we don't have anything else to ride. We have learned everything we know from building our own stuff, but it has always been so much fun. You should not take living in Washington for granted and I'm sure you don't, cause here on the east coast snowboarding is a whole different world, and not in a good way

@Grayskiesproduction use to live in washington. myself and all my buddy's i use to snowboard with are deployed now. just wanted to see some snowboard videos in this stupid desert. but yeah living in the mountains was great. my parents lived on a hill that was 600 vertical feet on 26 acres so we would be building dirt jumps in the summer just so in the winter is would be quick to form them and we averaged 2 to 3 feet of snow so it was never a worry about messing up your board

@rcmaniac31 our house is about a couple hundred yards away from this hill through a patch of woods so it would be really hard to get electricity there so we have to rely on natural snow. We pretty much just fill up trashcans with shovels and drag them from long distances to build these jumps. We do not own the field so we really can't have someone drive on it. Yes, it takes hours even days sometimes, which is not very fun and takes away a lot of riding time. It all works out in the end though.

yeah dude, its so hard to keep the snow on the roll in. Using more roughed up plywood somewhat helps keep the snow on, but in the end the sun reeks havoc on the drop in

we spend a long time packing and alot of maintance work, but if you throw rock salt on them and then pack it will make your transitions nice and packed, no big ruts
