第二次世界大戦の終盤、日本に原爆を落としに来たエノラゲイ号のパイロットをイメージした歌詞、でしたね。「自分の操縦する愛機（＝きみ）がこれから人を殺しに行くという事実」だから「もし、（戦争の道具ではなく、ただの飛行機として）七つの海を飛べたなら」だと。と雑誌のインタビューにあったのを記憶しています。
