  • So cool!!! Steel meets Jobim. How great.

  • Amazing touch, have style and a lot of feeling, glad to see someone paying tribute to the great Jobim and Brazillian music on Lap Steel, thank you for your contribution.

    My all best from Spain.

  • Great tunes live on forever, I am glad to be just a small part of something I like, Wave and pedal steel....thanks for the compliment!!!!

  • BRAVISIMO!!!

  • Love this one Gary!, you make the rest of us sound like beginners......:(

?? did you steel a couple of those licks from Buzz??...or did he steal from you??

  • John, most of this ditty is of original thoughts excluding some phrases i extracted from Barney Kessell. I have the utmost respect for Buzz's musical expertise and would not hesitate to assimilate some Even's on my Zum...haha.

  • I think I'm seeing/hearing less than average knee/foot pedal action in this one. Is that accurate?

  • pedals and knees are at a minimum on the fast stuff...you are correct.

  • Great performance, as always. Ferdinado

  • thank you signora22

  • Well, you don't have an ounce more class, but your music is sounding great!

  • flecktonesrock, I am impressed with your ability to differentiate levels of class. I only wish you were within a 2 foot radius of me as I write this message. You see, I am dining on some Habanero salsa and chips. As you know, the class group that you have put me in necessitates some collateral damage fur ya! Oh, thanks for the compliment!

  • As soon as you said "2 foot radius"....I knew what was up. Was that habanero sauce anywhere near you during that recording session? I think I detected some background noise.

  • hell ya and we're talkin bark and bite

  • Awesome Steel work Mr. ZumEmm. I'm guessing that's a Zum steel you're playing there. I'm glad my dad shared this vid with me.

  • that is very sweet and smooth always a pleasure to watch and listen to you

  • Good, solid C6th work there! You play with a real authority on this one. Mighty fine work Gary.
