  • Wow. Wow! WOW! This is seriously awesome. The whole thing is flat out awesome. But the spot right after the solo (around the 2 minute mark) where there are several guitar tracks going, it sounded so much like the original I was astounded. So good.

  • Brilliant, Mate.

Perhaps the best cover I've heard of this U2 classic masterpiece.

It certainly captures the performance of the Edge, and the magical sound that he evokes from his Strat.

    Cheers, and thanks!

  • great version, great job man!

  • your preamp pedal sdd 3k AND MY SDD 2000 kick but now. cant wait for the trabb fuzz to enter my rig. talk to you soon.

  • Not gonna use foul language here but this kicks butt; listen to most stuff with headphones and your recording is superb, besides panning guitars as mentioned above and the double-mic on one of the amps any more tips, secrets you could share with us ?

  • can you try to make studio STREETS?

    studio versions are original!!!

  • Outstanding as usual... what a delight this tone!!

  • great job man.

  • By the way, I'd like to know, Do you remember how you nailed that perfect stereo sound after the harmonics @ 0:09? I'd love to know, as it's hard to nail the studio tone of Pride and you did it flawlessly!

  • @AntiRellik Thanks! I recorded the guitar part twice there and then panned one track mostly left and then the other track mostly right.

  • @Trabant1989 I was starting to think you double mic'ed your amp but I was sure there was something else going on :) Did you use different delay settings for each guitar track? I'm surprised you didn't post this cover before, I'm still amazed at your studio-like tone of Pride.

  • @AntiRellik I'm pretty sure the delay settings I used were the same- it's the slight differences in playing each time that when panned gives it a "wider" sound. I also did double-mic the amp on at least on one of the tracks, for a little more "space."

  • @Trabant1989 I think I should try that out. Thanks a lot for your help! Hopefully I'll upload a video soon :)

  • @AntiRellik, I think that Edge does not use herdim on the Joshua Tree on studio version. His and your tone is same for me.

Where is this trick studio version? Everebody (MICK, U2guitartutorials,....) have live version, but i never heard covers studio version, it is GREAT JOB.

  • LOVE IT. Great studio tone!!!

  • it does not play EDGE?

  • excellent - if you look closely at the picture you can see the Popmart lemon

  • Bravo, great sound!me too,j got a fender strat humbucker! ciao cheers greetings from italy!
