  • I live in California, and the Berkey Water filter as well as Multi-pure systems are now illegal to ship to this state. This is for OUR protection apparently. Since the berkey water system will help remove lead/mercury/flouride etc. its put in the same category as a food product that contains lead etc. even though in reality it is REMOVING it.. Complete political BS to keep Californians from buying the correct filters.
