I've played both the PS2 and PS3 versions.

I prefer the PS3/Xbox 360 version but the only problem is I don't have a PS3 and or an Xbox360(or even a wii) so I'm stuck with the PS2 Version, :P.

They're both fine. It was origanally for 360, that's why it seems better, but looks may decieve. And the wii controlls are easy, it's not flailing your arms like a madman, plus you can use different controls. They were going to only release it for ps3/360, but they decided not to. It's true that daytime people can use 360 ver., but the night wii ver. is better.

I don't know what the Wii controls are like for this game, but I'm willing to bet that the controls alot more difficult. I'll stick to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for Sonic games because they unlock the games full potential, unless there are Wii exclusive games like Sonic and the Black Knight. I'm glad I got the Xbox 360 version of Sonic Unleashed.

Aj09870 you think Sonic only looks good in Nintendo games? O_O Wow that is seriously messed. I like all sonic games (I havent played sonic heroes yet) and I dont care about the graphics or anything. All I care is whether I ahve fun and thats what I usually do. The 360 version may have more features but the wii version is pretty much the same, except no Empire City or day levels for Mazuri. Theres a glitch on the ps2 version that if you use the boost TOO FAST sonic will start turning by himself. To be specific on eggman land the part with the go-kart.

I can tell you right now, that Wii's sonic runs faster using that boost, the only difference is you can hold it like 360.

The homing atk on Wii will not hit an enemy unless the enemy is on-screen.

I can't belive i'm saying this but wii have some real problems:

-TO MANY STUPID HARD NIGHT STAGES.

-All you do in Muzrui is a boss and no Empire city.

-MOST of the DAY STAGES ARE FREAKEN SHORT.

-In night stages ARE SO HARD YOU WILL GET 10 between 30 game overs!

-In the final boss you will MESS AND ONLY TIME WHEN YOU LOSE LIFE FOR THE HEGHOG AND YOU HEAR THE SONG THAT IS SOOOOOO COOL.

Wii isn't even a version. It is very very different. In the 360/PS3 version, you actually have speed. The level isn't just running, there is obstacles that you blast through and is harder. The wii is just running. Werehog on the wii is even more boring. Hardly any combos like the 360 version has. No free roam in the wii version.

I got the Wii version of the game. I'm looking into getting the 360 version as well. It seems like a completely different experience. The difference between Unleashed from Ps2 to Wii is minimal. I know for a fact Wii can do a lot better visually. They just didn't give it the effort.

Not only the Wii's version lacks of Empire City and Mazuri as in phases(only the EGG BEETLE fight),but also same happens in PS2 version...Now that I see both versions,this time the differences are minimal,HOLASKA in HD seems to have only better graphics,but what really was great in the HD versions was the whale and the glaciers braking...really nice touches.

i got both versions of the wii and 360 i find the 360 more tough and if u get sonic speed level higher its godly. for the wii the only difference is slower gameplay(opinion) and the levels are a little bit easy than the 360 but they are both good versions of the same game :)

Sonic Unleashed Reminds me of Batman Returns for Sega CD, ya know why? Because the Driving Stages were fast and fun, while the Walking stages just took up time.

Sega knew that some people wouldn't want to play the Walking stages so they had 3 modes, Driving and fighting stages, or Just Driving Stages. I don't object to the WereHog Stages, but it would have been Cool if SEGA made 3 Modes. 1 Play with both Night and Day Stages
