@zomgseriosuly over 1% of english words originate from dutch.. :) And english, german, dutch and scandinavian languages are all germanic languages. So it's not that weird they seem similar.

They say French is the language of love...I disagree..listen to some carefree dutch women talk and laugh...makes me want to move to Nederlands right now. I've been studying the language, and apparently my family line goes to the dutch. Would have loved to be born there.

@bordkrijt - Its merely an opinion mind you, ha ha. Everyone has a different take on things. There are many places in America I dont like. Downtown Washington D.C. and parts of Baltimore scare the crap out of me. I would love to switch with you for a year, you can live around North Carolina/Virginia area and I can live where you are at. Wouldnt it be nice if we can snap fingers and switch roles for a short time?
@cosmicforums Ah no thanks for the switching idea, i do like my own country but dont really like USA. Its so different than The Netherlands, Canada or Denmark are countries where i would like to stay for a year.
