this is by far the best bowling game ever made. the graphics are awesome and very realistic for the time it was made and there is realistic carry down of oil as you progress in a tournament. this blows any wii bowling game out of the water in my opinion

@Icewind29666 Did it occur to you that maybe I hadn't played the game in awhile? It's not very hard once you get some games under your belt. One you figure out the preferred lines on each lane, it's very likely that you'll be shooting 300's.

The game had an official league, which is dead now unfortunately, but I was a former #1 of that league. The page is still up but at this point the rankings just go all over the place due to inactivity.

If they're gonna ever make a DECENT bowling game that goes some way to simulating the sport, they need to make putting spin/purchase on the ball a REAL TIME setting, not something you do before you even start moving!

Also, there must be some control scheme for the rhytm of your run-up, as this is integral to getting a good bowl happening. Not to mention the release of the ball itself...

This game is sort of PBA-licensed. You can see a couple of PBA logos here and there, and there're real players and a few real PBA events (Brunswick-sponsored, of course).
