  • I have a 4W laser :)

  • i tried it with my 1.2w yobresal build and it didnt work x]

  • Are you thinking about buying a yellow Laser or maybe another new colour ?

  • Thats just cool .......

  • that is the definition of a bad idea. a 1W blue laser, pointed at a mirror, which is spining at a high speed, at an angle.... through a deffraction grating :P

  • the $25,000 laser scanner/heads do basically same kind of deal with servo motors and stuff, right ? those are very very high wattage - 5 - 30 *watts* usually .

  • Looks awesome with a pulsed laser.

You probably should have mentioned that it needs smoke or it won't work. IMO this effect looks best if you use incense rather than Glycerol vapour because the uneven distribution produces a flowing sort of a fluid pattern.

Why'd you use such high-powered lasers? The effect works fine with much lower powers and then you wouldn't need goggles so you could see it with your own eyes.

  • @JaiNobesIsARat You dont necessarily need smoke havent you even seen relatively high powered (green especially) lasers used at night, they can easily be seen without aids.

  • @DarthLuke6 Yeah, i've seen plenty of high powered lasers. But indoors with lights on and doing a time-tunnel effect by the time a laser is powerful enough to produce a usable effect it should not have been turned on without goggles.

  • @JaiNobesIsARat Yeah smoke produces a much cooler effect but I didn't want to smoke up my house.

I used ridiculously high powered lasers because it would be out of my nature to use low powered ones ha ha.

  • @styropyro Should definitely have used low-powered ones or have mentioned goggles. But goggles destroy the effect, so, yeah, probably better to have used low-powered lasers. I'm sure you have some.

  • @styropyro

    200Mw 405nm

I have a question about this blue laser that am going to purchased if I could see the beam in the daytime and also nighttime a blue laser 200Mw 405nm? how bright is the blue laser beam going to be as a green beam or red bream at 200Mw 405nm or less bright than a red beam 200Mw red ?

  • 0.0

  • One person shinned a laser into there eye and had to get surgery.

    Build it.

  • in all seriousness, have you ever given any thought into starting your own company, doing special effects stage lighting with lasers?

  • cool video, keep them coming

  • How about giving me that 1mW blue laser there ;) .. Haha just kidding, great video man!

  • @pyr0ph1L 1mW? lol

  • @kaestar5 Lol I meant 1W haha :)

  • Styro, I have a "request". How could we mod a 1$ laser pointer into a "powerfull" one?

(red pointer, 3 AG13 button cell batteries)

  • @Poodleinacan You can't modify regular laser pointers, sorry. That's why I have that joke video where I smash a laser pointer with a hammer.

  • @Poodleinacan pot mod it it sound weird but look up pot moded laser

  • @whatnowpunk1106 Yea, I just looked it up, and I could probably over-charge my pointer, I will give it a try, when my batteries will be dead.

  • kinda looks and sounds like an old film projector

  • If you want to get rid of old lazers you can give them to me!

  • Cool 6th
