Good Luck to Justin. I hope he finds his own identity as Justin Trudeau, not Justin Trudeau, son of Pierre Trudeau. So far, he is not succeeding. Fortunately, in this moment, he is good on his feet. Unfortunately, he is reading a prepared text, and is not quick on his feet; Pierre was. This does not mean Justin will not be prime minister one day. He would not be the only North American leader who is not quick on his feet, needing a prepared text or a teleprompter.
@ocdave99 he is Margaret Trudeau's son--he has no leadership abilties--as a teacher he should at least be able to have a speech without reading it from a paper---in a word, he is a joke
@KaliedoscopeEyes94 For one, a suplus does NOT mean reduction in debt. Also, just because we have had suplus' after, does not mean he is was responsible for them.
@eminem4436 Yes. Because a man out of office at the times of our surplus postings would hold complete responsibility for them. Because, you know, fuck logic. No shit Trudeau wasn't responsible. -_- Thanks, tips. And I'm not sure what the definition of 'problematic debt' is, but thats what we have today as a result of buying fighter jets we cant afford nor do we need. Not from a government formed in the 70s.
@KaliedoscopeEyes94 What do you mean Trudeau wasnt responsible? We had basically NO debt in Canada for 100 years, except for war time. Then along comes Trudeau and BOOM! It skyrockets. The only 2 PMs that have even tried to clean up his mess were Cretien (bad spelling I know), and Martin. Harper IS spending too much, but not even a fraction of a percent that Trudeau did. And FYI, those jets that morons like you bring up, have not even been bought yet, and wont be for years.
@eminem4436 Sure he left us with some debt, but its not like we have been absolutely burdened my it. We have still been able to be strong in an economic sense. Trudeau introduced some pretty important legislation. And honestly, I think Mulrooney was worse for the economic sector.
@KaliedoscopeEyes94 Mulrooney was bad, but Trudeau was much MUCH worse. It wasnt just the economic side of things, he brought in the charter of rights and freedoms that altered the foundation of Canada for the worse.
@eminem4436 Umm, I'm sorry but how is the charter a bad thing? Its part of what has prevented Canada from becoming the 51st state... Figuratively of course, not literally. Personally I'm proud of it as a Canadian.
@KaliedoscopeEyes94 I'm not trying to sound condescending, but I knew you were gonna reply like that. Thing is, the Charter is THE MOST VAUGE document to ever have power in Canada. It's filled with abstract terms that unelected judges are meant to interpret, but they dont know anymore about politics then you or me. I'll PM you a link to an interview that talks about this kind of stuff. If you are interested in politics you will like this video.
This guy takes arrogant fag to a whole new level. He reminds me of one of those rich guys in high school. The guys whose fathers were successful lawyers or business men and the kids would act cocky because of their father's accomplishments. Then, after high school they find out their fuck all.
A blend of his mother's and father's genes. That would make him a bipolar nutcase (mother's genes) who is a power-hungry Communist arogant asshole (father's genes) - great just what this country needs.
(first part) Thank you Mr. Speaker . First of all, Mr. Speaker I'd like to thank the people of Papineau for the honour of being their voice in parliament, a task that I shall fulfill with grace and humility. Mr. Speaker, the government has finally admitted that, like under previous Conservative governments, Canada is back in a budgetary financial deficit.
I wish he was my MP. He has the most potential I've seen since Chuck Cadman. What we need is more politicians who care more about Canada (including Quebec) than they do about making themselves rich.

so vague, so bad. so lucky his father was who he was. I'm not sure there was any thought about his political allegiance... be papa's boy and mumble about subjects you can't even understand.
he needs to keep doing politics, and become the liberal party leader. After that, having our own country won't be so hard !

He seems arrogant and self-conceited and self-important. He's a lightweight ... does he even know what he's talking about? He can't ride on the coattails of his father forever.
My god, he is gorgeous.
It doesn't hurt that he is deeply intelligent and charismatic too.
Next PM!
Hopefully he'll save Canada from the conservatives before the world permanently hates us.

You people who think he'd be a good PM are crazy. He doesn't have his dad's leadership qualities. Stop living in the past.
