A R Rehman was arranging music long before he joined Illayaraja's group as a musician, Also he said yes Mani sir is in a way my mentor . That doesn't mean he was his only mentor. Also If he had stayed with Illayaraja he will stil be a msician , coz Illayaraja, Didnt even give credit to his own brother for his music....there yo go.

Mani ratnam ws the one who gave AR rehman the recognition he has today.

I supposed to go on sleep coz I have some emergency things to do in the morning ,but I cant since I started watching his interview.He is such a real man, so sober and so gentle I really really dont see in no one these day. Respect is automatic, Coz I care of people also as he does. Long live Rahman,God bless you, coz God send you for some reason.

An excellent interview. There are lots of Rahman interviews where he keeps repeating himself. This interview is succinct. I like it.
